So I went to target today. Then I went and bought a bookshelf which wasn't on my list. So it's gonna sit in my trunk until H goes out of town next week. Then I'll bring in and assemble.
This is why I'm not allowed to go to target. And I'm laughing as I type this...

packmomma, we love the Y! P likes the childwatch there while I work out, and we also try to take advantage of some of the family classes. I like the community there— it's been a great place to meet some other moms. I can't wait until she's just a little older because then there's really so much more she'll be able to do that I think she'll love!

So jealous of the beach!! It's in the low 50s here already so we are in full on fall mode already. That french onion soup was so so good.
Happy birthday tomorrow gingerygirl!! I am glad you are getting a nice break.
tmclawchick, our house gets water in the basement every time there is a heavy rain too. She definitely did not disclose that, and we asked. It's just a good thing it happened before we ordered the carpet we were going to install. No wonder there if vinyl down there! I hope you can figure out your leak.
We were supposed to go to a birthday party today, but A woke up with a runny nose so I felt better keeping her home and away from the other babies.
Did a bunch of errands today and ordered my wine (thanks @betweenthelines!). Also almost forgot that my car insurance was due...luckily paid it just in time (our policy would have automatically cancelled tomorrow, eek).

Last weekend when we were in NJ, my dad gave MH an electric guitar and an "irig" that allows him to use all sorts of distortions from his iPhone and our speakers, instead of an amp. Gee. Thanks, Dad!

So I want to AW on my DH for a minute. I have mentioned before he volunteers at a homeless youth shelter. Well a couple months ago he heard that an artist who was also homeless at one point was headlining at a local theater. (he knew this after watching a netflix documentary on this guy, called Finding Sugarman. Funny story he watched this doc about a year ago and told me all about it, then when he saw this artist performing at our local theater he was so pumped!). So long story short, he contacted our local theater to see if they might donate a couple tickets for some of the local homeless shelter. They agreed, donated 12 tickets and he is there tonight! He has brought together 3 different local homeless organizations and individuals receiving support. They also organized a local(ish) artist (a member of Blue Rodeo) who donated some guitars to the youth! I am so proud of him for sticking with it and making this happen for those people tonight who would never have experienced this otherwise.

redandblue, I loved the doc Finding Sugerman! My dad actually became a fan after seeing it and saw him in concert! That is so cool what your DH is doing!

After a week of awful humidity and temps in the high 90s here in MI there's an awesome breeze and I'm sitting in the living room with the patio door open...and I'm COLD.
I'm awake at 3:30am with acid reflux. WTH? The only time I had this in my life was towards the end of pregnancy with C and I gave away all of my calcium tabs to a pregnant friend.
I think the fever finally broke for good. C was up motn, sweating and clammy...and has been fever free since. This is good because we are needing to be fever free for 24 hours now for DC.

DH has a big deadline he's been working long hours on and we just have a few more days of insane hours. I can't wait, mama needs a break! He needs to work from home for a few hours so I'm taking the kiddos to a fall festival at a local church. It seems pretty cool, carnival rides and heyyyyy fair food!
M and I both woke up grumpy and gave been pushing each other's buttons. So he's playing independently with his train and I'm watching project runway reruns and drinking coffee.
The phone I have has had issues where it gets locked in a boot loop. It happened to H's phone last weekend and he had to get a new phone. Because he had replaced his screen his want eligible to trade in through our carrier. My phone has been running sluggish so we're going to trade it in today.

Heading out for a hike with the kids in a while. The weather is beautiful today, low 70s and sunshine. I'd like to take them to the pumpkin farm to do a hayride, but I know DH would be bummed to miss it. He's on third, so sleeping. He's worked over 80 hours this past week, and I feel bad that he's had to miss out on so much time with the kids.
Worked out my meal plan, still need to make up a grocery list.

I did an early morning grocery and Costco run with DD. Let the boys sleep. I was productive last night and meal planned for the week and made my grocery lists.
Also, its super windy today so we're stuck inside trying to find ways to keep the kids busy. There is only so many times I can build a tower for the kids to knock over.
