That sounds really cool littlesthobo! Loo what led to the melt down in the grocery store?
When we picked a cart he said he wanted to walk, so I chose a small cart with no child seat. Then halfway through he decided he wanted to ride in the cart, but couldn't and lost it. I ended up carrying him for a bit.
I did get one comment from an older lady that her generation never behaved like that and it's probably the fault of society today.... Thanks?

it's because some yuppies decided beating our children should be frowned upon these days. A little strapping never hurt anyone...wait...
Calling all crochet-ers!! My friend sent me a pattern diagram for a hat she'd like. I'm not used to writing diagrams and I don't read Mandarin or Cantonese or whatever language it is.
Help me decipher it? I know what the stitches are I just don't really get the diagram on the whole...
Well I guess I'll just drink all the coffee. I have a mani/pedi appointment today and I'm leaving the boys with H and my parents. I'll leave B with frozen BM and won't look back. I might even go to Starbucks if it's not long enough lol

I'm watching cartoons, supervising tummy time, wiping chocolate off of my bed with a baby wipe, and listening to machine gun farts all while mentally preparing to clean out the closets. #livingthedream

Lol I hear you! The highlight of my morning has been eating a peach alone in the kitchen. Make that inhaling it in under two minutes before the toddler comes in.

H decided to take L to closing weekend at the waterpark today. We have so much other crap to do today and with them going I doubt we are going to get much of it done.

I went yesterday to Starbucks & for a massage, it was magical.

Ugh F is refusing to nap yet again today. He's been up since 9. DH is fed up (F is gassy) and basically said "you're done. We're formula feeding. Obviously your BM is hurting him."
I don't want to FF. He sleeps fine through the night so I don't get how it's the BM but he's just always so gassy during the day.
It's game day at our house, the Dolphins are playing the Seahawks so we're having my family over to watch and eat food. H is a huge Dolphins fan and my family are Seahawks fans basically just because it's the closest NFL team to us, so it'll be fun. I have 3 hours to take a shower and get me and Sam in our Dolphins gear, pick up a little bit, run to the store to pick up wings, and make a ton of nachos, but I'm so tired and don't want to get off the couch haha

No, Ray's DH. Gassy babies are just a thing of babies, FF, or BF. They're so little and don't move much, so gas builds up. Once F starts rolling, sitting up, gains mobility, it should get better. Talk it over with YH, I don't think it's fair to just make the decision without a conversation.

Your H does realize that FF babies get gas too right? Probably even more so because they suck down air + formula from the bottle. You could try monitoring your diet to see if you eating something causes more gas & then eliminate/cut back until F is weaned.

Mani/pedi was awesome. I got B to take a pacifier in the car so he didn't scream bloody murder the whole way home.
I hope this pacifier thing sticks. B has terrible gas in addition to the reflux, and I think it's part of the reason he sleeps so shitty the last half of the "night".

Girl, nobody and I mean nobody tells me how to feed my baby. I'm seeing red on your behalf.

Your husband needs to be shot. W is on gentlease enfamil and he is one gassy baby. Babies are really mini versions of us. I bet your husband passes gas a couple times a day. His baby would do it multiple times more because he is so much smaller.
If he had any problems with breastmilk he would be screaming while bloated no matter the time of day.
Also W has a much easier time passing gas and pooping while lying flat.
Thanks guys. I'll try writing down what I'm eating to see if I can figure it out. I don't get DH. I went downstairs to fold laundry and came back up with him feeding F a bottle of milk I pumped (supposed to go to movies with friends tonight) DH said he crushed 4oz in about 8mins and he was probably just starving and maybe we should pump and bottle feed from now on since the night he slept 8hrs he had a bottle instead of boob before bed.
I told him we could try bottles before bed and if he's super cranky during the day (I mean realistically he's going to get bottles during the day in about 6 weeks anyway) but I still want to nurse. I told him I want to do a weighted feed at Fs appt next Mon. That way we'll know if he is pulling as much from my boobs if being hungry is the problem. He's sleeping now but it's still on DH. It's just so frustrating.
ETA: also going to have to pry DHs eyes open to the idea of paced feeding. He let him suck back that bottle super fast while laying down :S

I'm FFing and L hasn't been sleeping a lot during the day. Yesterday he was up for the whole afternoon and most of the evening, and finally fell asleep at 11:30pm. Formula or BM, babies are going to do their thing!
Throat punch to Mr Ray! I get that he wants to 'fix' F and make life easier for everyone, but formula is not a magic cure-all and babies are going to act in random, unpredictable, unfixable ways because they're babies.

I worked really hard to get L to fall asleep for a nap. Had him swaddled and sleeping in his PNP. Toddler woke up at precisely the wrong moment. Apparently babies don't sleep when someone smacks them in the stomach and yells "hi baby L!!!"
Was going to have a coffee, but might have a beer instead.

You have all my sympathy. I thought I was genius for letting DD watch a show with headphones at naptime. It was great until she screamed a question at me because she was wearing headphones and had no concept of the right volume.

This sounds like our day, except substitute dogs barking for toddler. After a sleepy day yesterday, apparently R wants nothing to do with sleep today.

Ray TP to YH for trying to unilaterally decide how F should be fed. FF is not a cure all for gas or anything else. If you want to BF then you should continue to do so. You can track what you eat to see if there are any foods he reacts to but most likely it's nothing in your diet.
So I ended up having a really awesome some evening.
I had a mommy date with two girlfriends and we went to the movies to watch Bad Moms (hilarious and reassuring btw lol) it was so nice to get out alone and the movie actually made me feel better about all those "wtf am I doing?" moments.
Also a kind of good/crappy note lol F woke up and fussed on DH twice while I was gone despite having been bottle fed. So the "bottle is better" theory no longer stands necessarily.
But now I have a kid who's crushed 7oz in two hours and may or may not have a sore belly now lol
