Hi ladies,
Just need to vent for a minute before I head off to my wrist MRI (broke my wrist last week and now they're thinking I may have torn a ligament in my hand too...)
I've been waiting. Patiently (okay, sometimes not THAT patiently) for AF so that I could do my FET cycle. I've been waiting for 60 days, so you would think that fate would give me a break. FF finally showed that I O'd 9 days ago, so I was thrilled that I might get AF next week. No...instead that bitch comes to town today. DPO9....making my FET need to be on Wednesday February 4th, per my RE. The ONE day in February that I'm out of town for a work presentation. I'm so upset and angry at my body. I left them a message begging to do the ET on CD22 or 23 (they always do them on CD20), so we'll see what they say, but I remember last time, there being no flexibility with this.
I'm so pissed that now i might have to wait another cycle... (at least 60 days).
Oh and this AF is super painful and giving me a huge migraine.
Thank you for letting me vent! Berritinis and chocolate for all!
UPDATE: Thank you ladies so much for all the love and support!
Well, the IVF nurse called me this morning and her first reply to my begging to do it on CD22 was "oh, well Dr only does them on Mondays anyway, lets do CD25" which is completely wrong because 1) last time, they made a huge deal about it being on CD20, and 2) last time, CD20 was a Saturday for me and they were totally fine with doing it then. So, basically, I told her that I didn't care which RE does it (there are three at my office), but if there's flexibility in the date, then I'd really like it on a Saturday so MH can be there (which would be CD23) as opposed to Monday (CD25) because it would be closer to their 'optimal' CD20 and MH would be able to be here for it if it was Saturday.
So, she basically said she doesn't know, but she'll check with Dr. but that she wouldn't know until Monday, and to start taking the FET meds. So hopefully, I'm not taking these pills for no reason
UPDATE #2: Well, I completely give all you ladies credit for the good luck thoughts! It may have taken three days, but they finally just got back to me and told me that the lab was willing to come thaw my little embie and that the doc on call was willing to come in and do the transfer on Saturday, February 7th. So basically, shit just got real. Now comes the anxiety about will it / won't it work...along with all the other crazy things I do before a transfer (aka drink gallons of pomegranate juice and red raspberry tea and take about 13 vitamins...)
