Sorry for the rough time annapunkalunka. I have a feeling I'll be there shortly.
Tomorrow is my due date... I have a prenatal massage this afternoon and a midwife appt in the morning.
I've had a few contractions this morning so I'm hoping labor will start sometime today. 9/14 is a good date for me since it's my grandmas bday and she's the wife of the amazing man this bean is being named after. Fingers crossed!!!
I saw the midwife today and had a BPP and NST. This kid is perfectly content hanging in my ute forever. I'm only half a centimeter dilated so I'm still going in Thursday night for the induction and we will start with Cervidil. She is guessing baby won't be here until Saturday though
Me: 28, all tests normal DH: 34, very low count, motility, morphology DX - MFI 11/14/09 - Married 01/01/14 - TTC #1 01/06/15 - Started working with RE 04/06/15 - Recommendation - straight to IVF w/ICSI 09/04/15 - Started working with new RE Nov/Dec 15 - IVF w/ ICSI #1 - 11R/8F - 1 transferred, 3 frozen

Hopefully it won't take you that long! In case my anecdote makes you feel better last time I was only 1 cm when I went in at 5pm on a Monday night. Did 2 doses of Cervidil overnight, Pitocin starting in the morning and had her at 5pm on Tuesday.
Who knows, maybe your body will surprise you in the next two days!

merryrissmas glad the Meds are working! Hopefully your ob is happy with that and you don't have to induce this weekend.
rufus426 hopefully things get going for you too! If not, I hope the induction is quicker than that. Maybe your doc is preparing you for a long one so you're pleasantly surprised when it's shorter!

I feel like a lot of us need hugs today. So sorry to hear about all the postpartum woes.
jennybeans, that is an interesting opinion from your pediatrician. It is typical for EBF newborns to have 3-4 poopy diapers per day by day 4. While it becomes typical for poops to space out eventually, that really shouldn't happen until they are 8-10 weeks old. I'm not trying to scare you, but you'll want to be keeping an eye out. I hope you get some good poops asap (never thought I'd say that).

So I thought today was going to be my last day at work. I said I'd work tomorrow too but my bosses wife (she wks at the office too) said we could play it by ear. Well I asked her today if she can work for me tomorrow and she said she'd rather work just one day this week, so no. Womp womp. Oh well, at least I'm getting a free lunch out of it, we're doing a staff lunch for my last day.
For the s+tm's who've already had their babies, jennybeansflyakitekerbearlpjsingingseamerryrissmas (that's all I can think of right now, sorry if I missed someone): how was it laboring at home with LO1 there? I'm getting really nervous about it. Especially since I pre-labored for a couple days before full blown labor happened last time.
I think flyakite had w c-sec but I don't remember if it was RCS or not.
I'm 10 days away from due date and feeling decent. More achey this time around but I'm in no rush to go into labor. Trying to enjoy my toddler as much as possible. My hormones are crazy right now though, I feel like I'm on the verge of crying about everything!

serendipity731, when I was in labor with DS1, I was lucky that my mom was already here a couple of days early to help out with DD. I had prodromal labor and was completely miserable, so she distracted DD as much as possible and cooked for us, etc. I don't know what will happen this time since I may be induced, if so my mom will come in ahead of time to watch the kids. If she's not here yet and I happen to go into labor, I will lean on DH to keep the kids busy and distracted until it's time to go to the hospital

hurricanerek, I'm definitely still keeping an eye on it! The pediatrician gave me the go ahead to try a very small amount of prune or pear juice. We've also been bicycling quite a bit over here. Babes been passing a lot of gas, but still no poop. I'm nervous about trying the juice. Has anyone else ever had to do that with an infant? We are headed back in Friday for a weight check so I will be bringing it up again...

Yep had to with DS a few times. He was FF so we'd put like 0.5-1oz of prune juice in his bottle once or twice a day.SaveSave
I thought it was going to be a "no nap" day for my toddler after 45 minutes of rolling around and not falling asleep, but I just noticed her passed out on the living room floor while I'm on hold with my insurance company. Poor little girl, I should've guessed it might happen since she dragged a blanket into the living room (she's barely touching it though). I've been trying to go to the gym each afternoon to walk the baby out but gotta wait for her to wake up now.
I'm now spiraling on transverse/oblique positioning. theophania I'm trying the spinning babies website like you recommended. How many weeks were your when you got your LO to turn? I feel like I'm running out of time.
serendipity731 It worked out well for me that I went into labour in the middle of the night so DD slept through it all! By my the time she woke up, DS was born! Otherwise I don't think it would have been too terrible though because my contractions were very frequent but not terribly intense until a couple of hours before he arrived. I could still talk trough them by the time we left for the hospital.
Sorry to hear about the tough times some of you are going through. It hasn't been super easy here with DH back at work the last two weeks but to be honest I've been pleasantly surprised. The cluster feeding is a challenge and DD is unfortunately sick but otherwise it's been quite lovely. However I don't know how I would survive if DD wasn't still in daycare three days a week- those are definitely important rest and recuperation days!
DS has been very gassy overnight and I think I'm dealing with OALD/oversupply/lactose overload issues again which is a bugger. I'm worried wearing him so much in the moby is contributing but I'm not sure I can live without that on days with DD at home!
Love to all - late pregnancy and early parenthood is a tough time for everyone and I really appreciate this forum even if I'm not the most active commenter.
I just need a minute to brag about my H. He's been so amazing these last 2 days. First getting me through labor and now keeping me sane. I just hit a total cliff emotionally while trying to get K into her jammies and to bed, with both dogs just circling and antsy and he just sort of calmly got me back to grounded and we got her all set.
Also, the damn changing table attachment on my pack n play is pretty much worthless. I put my barely 7lb teeny baby in it and it leans just a little bit, but enough to cause K to roll a little to the side instead of staying in the center. So I guess we'll be getting a changing table.

I was 37 weeks and he changed positions a few times over the week. I had him at 37+5 so I'm not sure what would have happened if I had gone longer.
Thanks. I was 37+5 when I posted last night. I know all I can do is the stretches and my chiro and hope for the best. She's been lodged in this exact position for weeks.
Sorry to hear that singingsea they better call back quick
Also refreshing for updates!
So I switched our night time routine up a bit last night - which successfully resulted in a 3 1/2 HR, 4 HR, and 3 HR stretch of sleeping from P. 4 HOURS!!
Before it has been every 2 or maybe 3 at the most. Consistent Sleep has never felt so good!!
Lurker coming out of hiding... Would you mind sharing what your schedule is? I'm dying over here because DD will not sleep without being held and the longest stretch without being held has been an hour.

Just stuff to keep in mind and seems to work for best for both of us. Honestly, Google has been a dangerous rabbit hole for me - so find what works for you. Trial & error is all I've done.
Other info: P just turned 1 month yesterday.
I use pumped breast milk for middle of the night feedings. I nurse her before I'm fully asleep like 9-10pm and then nurse again around 8-9am. Otherwise, I was finding nighttime nursing was beyond frustrating and exhausting so much time. She would fall asleep and not actually be full and up the next hour at it again.
Now that she's a month she's bottle feeding with about 3-4 oz of breastmilk at night each feeding. Burp, rock to sleep in my arms then place back in bassinet. Normally for at least 10 minutes she will be pretty fussy so we use a pacifier (only until she's asleep) and butt taps while she was in the bassinet. Not picking up during this seems crucial. Last couple nights she been going at least 2hr to 4 hours between. Most common is 3 hours.
This has been a "take it day by day thing." It might of worked last night but maybe not today.
Until she was this age and capable of eating this amount I was up every 1 1/2 - 2 hours too. So hang in there! I felt like I went into survival mode, but then turned a corner out of nowhere.

flojo973, what are your sleeping arrangements? Is baby with you, in a crib? Are you using swaddles or white noise? We are at 2 weeks but found with our older son and are seeing with E that some consistency/routine is key. We are nursing on demand all day and night but fixed a "bedtime" between 8:30-9:30 where I do the same routine each night (white noise, massage, diaper, pjs, nurse, sleep sack, nurse other side). E hadn't been letting me put her down for the first stretch every night which we are working on still (last night was great!) but after that she is fine in her crib. She wakes 3 times between 9 and 7 and then we get up for the day between 7:30-8:30. It's still early, but this has worked for us for the last 4 nights at least.
