With DS I was a disgusting sweaty mess every night. This time I haven't noticed anything! We are up too but I will take it because this is the first time tonight! She finally let me out her down and stayed asleep longer than 30 mins! We'll see how the rest of the night goes!
K is just now starting to give me a consistent 2-2.5 hour stretch at night at one month old. This is so much better than it was though. He was doing the thirty min to an hour wakeups before.
I shouldn't complain too much, we do get 3 good stretches of 2-3 hours at night usually but they are broken up by a handful of 30 min to hour wake ups that are exhausting.
We set a bedtime of 9(ish) so I don't know if that is part of the 'problem' right now that it's just too early for her which is why I'm getting the early night wake ups sometime.. I'm going to power through with it though since I remember how much having the routine helps later on! It's a good reminder that things change so quickly at this age and hopefully by 1 month we are in a better spot too!

Hey hey! DD is getting some good feeds in tonight. I'm grateful because I'm so uncomfortably full right now. It's hard to sleep in the hospital anyway. I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed without any beeping.
Cluster feeding has officially begun here, right around 48hrs old. This kid also has serious gas and it REEKS!!! Still spitting up a bit too so I'm officially not sleeping tonight.
I kind of wish we had stayed in the hospital one more night. We were technically supposed to stay until tomorrow but they gave us the option to discharge early and DH jumped on it. I think he was incredibly bored and wanted to sleep in his own bed. I get it, but I'd have liked another 2-hour nursery option tonight. I'm so tired!

Wow you're milk is already in? How long did it take?
Eta- nevermind, I forgot you she was in the NICU. Your milk is in because she was born 2 days before mine ha ha.
I feel like there can't possibly be any left for him to drink at this point.
It's crazy huh?? I always felt that way too but amazingly they still get some and you're making more. I think it's weird too that the inside of my boobs would be sore.

we left a day early with DS and I regretted it. I made us stay the whole 2 days for LO and I'm so glad I did.
I'm up. I already served my chair jail time (LO sleeping on me in the chair) so I hope DH steps up after this session and puts her down so I can actually lay in bed
We cluster fed from 8 to 1. Now he's eating again. So much tired.
I think we did the same tonight. Luckily she would let me put her down for short periods between and pass out hard for 15-30 minutes but for some reason I had a hard time falling and staying asleep tonight so I couldn't even take advantage of little breaks!

danielle, hopefully he figures out the right schedule soon! It's rough when they are switched on you. It sucks to wake a baby, but if you aren't already, you may want to make sure you are waking him every 2-3 hours during the day. That should help with the switch.

Haha yes she was born on Thursday. My milk actually came in very early this time, right at the end of day 2. I think that's because I'm tandem breastfeeding though.
Sounds like it was the night of cluster feeding. DD finally passed out around 2:30am and slept until 8. Holy moly! Hopefully tonight everyone gets more sleep!!

Cluster feeding in the evening let me sleep from 10-12 instead of her weird wake every 30 minute behavior that has been going on.. hopefully the rest of the night follows suit (I probably just jinxed myself!)
I got a nice stretch of sleep from 8:30 to 10, this last stretch was a little shorter but he actually wasn't that awake, I think the only reason he was fussing was because he needed to poop. The diaper change woke him up and got him eating though. Fingers crossed for another nice stretch.
I woke up before DD because I'm so engorged. I'm icing my boobs waiting for the nurse to bring DD back from assessing her. I'm so excited to go home today and be in my own house/space. I'm trying to let DH sleep as much as possible tonight since he let me nap twice today while he took care of DD.

I just slept for 2 hours while holding E. Didn't mean to. He's cranky tonight. And he peed through his diaper onto my shirt. Hopefully a wardrobe change and a snack make him sleep for a decent stretch.

E finally pooped tonight! I could have done without the additional wake up, but I'm glad for the assurance that things are working the way they are supposed to! (It was going on 9 days without..)
We are still cluster feeding even though my milk came in today. I think his clock is still a bit off too. He slept about 90% of the day. Last night I didn't get to lay down until 3, I'm shooting for 2 tonight.

Yay for decent sleep stretches!
P is in the boppy getting a bottle while I'm EPing at the same time. So far it's working and could save me up to 1 hour of sleep every night if I can do both at the same time!
