So how many times a day is your baby pooping?
Just curious.
I think i need to call the pedi to get the dosage for milks magnesia. Dd only goes once a day and strains sometimes. Poor thing. Ds was on it for awhile. He has constipation issues.

E poops 6-8x/day. Basically after every day feed. But I don't think that's the norm. DS1 pooped every time he ate until 15 months. Lucky me makes poopy babies.
I know there is a wide range of normal for poop frequency, but hope you can figure out something so she's not in pain.
1-3 times a day but sometimes he skips a day or two. Sadly he does strain and is always constipated. Pedi doesn't want us using anything on him. Probably because DH and I both have stomach issues.
She poops every 3ish days, and it is massive! My toddler was like this too, starting around 10 weeks, and I remember worrying that she was constipated, but her Ped said anything from 7x/day to once every 7 days is normal.
B poops 4-5 times a day and is constantly straining all night (when he doesn't poop). But he's one of the younger babies.
Ds1 would go 5-6 days without pooping. His ultimate poop strike was 9 days. We were told not to use anything until after 9 days of no poop. So we had to use a suppository and it worked immediately. And it was awful. So much crap.

12 weeks and he poops 2-3x a day, usually at 6-6:30am. Sometimes he will fill his diaper in the afternoon if he cluster feeds in the morning, but no more night poops. 🎉
Can I just say how jealous I am that so many of you have light poopers? Why do I get the poopiest babies ever?
If it is any consolation, A's 2-3 poops are monstrously large and almost always end up in a wardrobe change.
Sam didn't poop at all yesterday so I knew one was coming and knew it would be trouble. Yep, we both ended up naked with him getting a bath, even though he just had one last night. His poops have definitely slowed down in frequency but now mostly end in blow outs!

I will never complain about the amount of times a day my kids poop because being constipated is a much worse, but damn it's a lot. DD is 2 and still goes at least 3 times a day. Like big poops. And DS has poop every single time I change his diaper. He's 6 weeks. When he was born he pooped 13 times in the first 24hrs. 13.
Generally once a day, but sometimes she'll got 2 or 3 days without. We do a mom and baby yoga class where we do little yoga stretches with the babies at the end. She pooped like she's never pooped before after that. (She had been backed up for 2 days before) So now I try and do those stretches with her daily and she's pooping a little more regularly.

Still no poop, it's been over 24 hours and B is miserable.
We use a windi in these situations. It almost always clears R out of gas and poop
I've never met anyone anyone (online or irl) that owns or uses a windi! I'll he honest and confess I've made fun of it. Tell me I'm wrong and that it's awesome.
