:raises hand:
EDD: 9/30 How are you feeling: exhausted Any signs of go time: not really. I've had some relatively painful random contractions but no sign of anything really happening yet. Rants/raves: I do not want to work the next 2 weeks. Blah.
Any signs of go time: No. She's still crooked. After cleaning yesterday I had my first real contractions, that got me a tiny bit excited.
Rants/raves: Can't decide when to have my mom come. Due to responsibilities at home she can only stay a few weeks. It will lower my stress level to know somebody is here to watch DD, but I want her here after the baby too. She was gonna come Wed (39 weeks) but we might push it back now. (She's 6.5 hours away.)
EDD: 9/23 How are you feeling: Tired, blood pressure creeping up, constant swelling in my feet and ankles. Any signs of go time: I've been having BH for a few weeks, but nothing else really. Rants/raves: All I want is some indication that she's on her way.
EDD: 10/02 How are you feeling: Large and uncomfortable. Lots of pressure today. My mom is convinced the baby has dropped, I don't know. I'm sticking out further than last week. Any signs of go time: HA. I had BH pretty good last week and now nothing. I don't even think I've lost my MP yet. Rants/raves: How to take care of a toddler and a newborn is stressing me out.
EDD: 9/23 How are you feeling: bleh, I have a cold and the coughing and junk is really bothering me. I'm hoping it goes away before I go into labor. Any signs of go time: nope Rants/raves: none yet, I'm sure as I get closer to Friday people will become more annoying.
EDD: 9/24 How are you feeling: so tired and short of breath. I keep thinking the baby will drop and give me some relief but not yet. Any signs of go time: so much mucus plug the last two days. Intermittent contractions but no more than a few an hour and then they go away. Rants/raves: I really want this little boy to come soon but I also feel really behind. I'm teaching an online class that begins in October and the PowerPoint presentations are done but I have to record the audio lectures that go with them. And I'm just so tired by the time DD goes to bed that I keep putting it off and watching HGTV instead.
Also, my in-laws were going to come watch DD while we're at the hospital but now my FIL has to start radiation treatment for a reoccurrence of prostate cancer so they probably can't unless baby comes really soon. My BIL and SIL can watch her but she really loves nana and papa.
The "lightening crotch" (hate that term!!) has been CRAZY this afternoon and into evening. I'm assuming that's what it is, she keeps head butting me in my cervix and bladder too which all equals waaaaay too much uncomfortable feelings down there.
How are you feeling: I was feeling good until last night - see below.
Any signs of go time: I woke up around midnight/1 am last night with contractions - they were fairly regular (4-5 minutes apart) for 4-5 hours, so we called my parents to come over. I managed to fall back asleep around 5 am, and when I woke up, the contractions weren't any closer together or more intense, so we took DD to daycare and sent my parents back home. Now I'm working from home until my appointment this afternoon.
Rants/raves: False alarms are the worst - I felt terrible calling my parents in the middle of the night - I didn't have any fake-outs with DD, so I really thought we would be heading to the hospital overnight/this morning. Guess not.
Sorry for the false alarm caz1221 ! I have had 1 or 2 episodes like that as well. I never had any contractions that were induced with piton with my daughter so it's so confusing and disappointing!
caz1221 maybe your body just needed some practice! WIth DS I started having contractions for a few hours, they went away for almost 10 hours and then came back and I was in labor!
