@scorpioscubaoh yes. She pulls up on alllll the things. She likes to try to go no hands the little devil. I think she believes falling on her bum is fun. Godz help me. tinydancer yay for a house! Lsquared happy anniversary that sounds like a fun time.
crimsonandclover, the seminar sounds great, hope you get to see your friend! nikiswimr, so jealous about jamaica! so much fun. what resort are you staying at? we've a few times. kcrkcs, omg lol at the horse poop. It was only a matter of time.. pinktartan9, speaking from an IF perspective, i got pg with DD during my first medicated cycle after trying unsuccessfully for 6 months. With DS, it took almost a year of medicated cycles until the IUI did the trick. I'm hoping to do another IUI around December. NellieOleson, ugghhhh im sorry she's still sick. I hope DD2 grows out of these horrid GI issues, too. silverspoon, eye drops are awful, im so sorry you have to deal with that. I remember when DD scratched her cornea when she was 14 months and we had to take her to the ER and do the drops every day after that for a while. I felt like a monster. dizzycooks, I have to wash my hair daily bc it is nasty. Thin, body-less, color treated. It's decent if I wash it every day with shampoo although I know you're not really supposed to do that.
tinydancer, how exciting!! I hope this house has more of what you were looking for. NellieOleson, that view looks stunning. Enjoy! Lsquared, sounds terrific, hope y'all enjoy that special time!
DH is coming home tomorrow. Hopefully we won't bite eachother's heads off. He'll be working crazy long hours but at least he will be home for the night. DS is still dealing with that nasty cold. Getting better suuuuuper slowly. DD loves preschool, thank god. She has a birthday party this weekend to go to so we got her friend a present today. I also bought DS the cutest little baby mocs that look like little lions and some teething jewelry.

in Berlin! And of course my keyboard for my iPad decided to stop working so I have to type on screen. So slow. I got to see my old friend last night, which was really nice. Now off to the seminar!

crimsonandclover enjoy the time to yourself even if you do need to work. We are having more rain, but I managed to mow half our yard once the girls went down for nap. If there's any plus to crummy weather it will be that my house will be clean again.

I'm going to kill Dh. We are suppose to be going out to eat (with kids and my mom) and he is just leaving work. It's raining. Last time it was raining he didn't get home until after 7pm. We are suppose to meet AT the restaurant at 6. I'll be lucky if I can pick him up at 6pm and the way we need to drive 15-20 minutes. I really want to call my mom and say screw it.
dizzycooks I am sorry your plans are getting screwed. I am still waiting for hubs to get home from work. I am starving! Off topic there is nothing like a crawling baby to show you just what a horrible housekeeper you are apparently. She used to go more than one day per outfit. Now it's like 30mind and its full of dog hair and dingy. Yeeeeeuck. I mean the barn is one thing but my house 😳😳😳
Ok very important question if your baby is sick do you still let them cio if they wake up?!?!?!?!!!?!? Eta assume everything else is in order, Feed diaper meds.

Depends how six, but generally no. Teething and illness put a hard stop to crying I favor of snuggles. I'm sorry your baby is sick

I have.
He wasn't settling down by being held. My baby isn't super cuddly. When you're holding him, he never stops moving.
I do make sure he has his binky and I will stay and pat/rub his back until he seems comfy.

So, on another level of STing. DD is able to pull herself up and stay standing. We no longer care for our naps! Awesome. So, she spends upwards of an hour, standing in her crib and screaming through the bars. I had a much easier time with CIO before. Now not only is there the screaming but also the concern she is going to hit her face on the crib/get a body part stuck in the bars * sigh *

Yeah same for us. No crying if sick or teething (why I got up 3 times last night, darn top teeth).

I'm sorry. That sounds awful. Would going in repeatedly just to lay her back down and leaving work? I don't know if she would get it, but I think I would try it.
I do have a mesh liner in J's crib. I got it specifically to keep his pacifier in his crib, but it has the added bonus of keeping limbs inside.

Happy Sunday!! It feels like FALL here! DS rode his bike while I pushed DD in the running stroller for my 3rd day of C25K. It was super fun even if the wind made it more challenging. We are decorating for Fall/Halloween today. Oh, and DD has sprouted the ridge of one of her bottom teeth. She's been more needy due to that but I've enjoyed the extra cuddles.

Late to the party because life is so busy lately, but I think I'm all caught up. DD army crawls all over the place and all her onesies are getting so dirty kcrkcs. I vacuum every day and mop once a week but apparently I need to mop much more often. We have two dogs so it's hard to keep floors spotless. I cannot believe some of you have babies who are pulling up! My DS started pulling up around 9 months I think; i actually hated it because he would just fall straight forward and whack his head on the crib). I don't think DD will be doing that any time soon. We are supposed to move in two weeks and there has still been so much back and forth over our current house with the buyers; I'm so over it. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
I can't believe the weekend is over. I mean I don't really take a day off so I am not totally sure why it matters but agh! One more week gone by and I didn't get done everything I wanted/needed to. Tonight I got ahead of our nightly dinner conundrum. Since L and I have been sick I made a vat of chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles. Froze some and we will have some later this week. Also sticky garlic chicken which should be enough for us to have again tomorrow. We had it on salad and that was a good mix. Hubs came home with 6 dozen eggs from the neighb😳😳 guess we better have omelettes one night. 🐓🐓

I'm still in the middle of my moving craziness but I've been following along. lucanjo14, I hope your move goes better than mine has been.
We got into our house yesterday, and I love it. Unfortunately, we can't get our stuff out of storage until Thursday, so I'm sleeping on an air mattress. My dog got anxious and destroyed the baby's pack n play so we had to buy a new one. Our car is leaking transmission fluid. Hopefully we can get it fixed tomorrow because I'm supposed to take it on a five hour (each way) work trip on Wednesday. The internet company can't install our internet until Tuesday, and I have about two days worth of work to get through tomorrow. Wah.
kcrkcs, quiche? I love all sorts of quiche (quiche lorraine, southwest quiche, etc.) and they use lots of eggs. You could also make and freeze some breakfast casserole. That uses lots of eggs.

dizzycooks, sorry your dinner plans got ruined, I know that happened to you a few weeks ago too crimsonandclover, hope you're enjoying brussels! scorpioscuba, im so proud of you for the c25k commitment! I honestly could not do it right now. pinktartan9, i really think at this age i would be pushing the babies to still nap, either by repeatedly laying them back down, or getting them to sleep in other ways like in the car or rocking. I like the mesh liner that silverspoon mentioned. kcrkcs, eggs are so good! I love omelettes. You can put hardboiled eggs in salads too. tinydancer, ugh hang in there girl!! this too shall pass.
