Went to a ribbon cutting ceremony for our chamber of commerce's new office building. Had 1/2 glass of awful wine. Now I'm waiting for the baby to go down before I drink. They opened up a wine/beer store in the same plaza as DD2's daycare! A+
Dying at the pumping in the workplace question bunnyfungo. I hope it went well and FX for you!
I had an all over the place day. DD2 had her 9 month well visit and first flu shot. I have Chardonnay in spite of you birches and I'm going to be making the Blue Apron bolognese for dinner in a bit.
Finally found the closed Facebook group for DS's kindergarten class. It turns out she posts photos or even videos every single day. So I spent about half an hour going through all of those.
Now I'll be even more obsessive about his wardrobe.
I drink here.Sept 23, 2016 16:33:25 GMT -5via mobile

I just got home after having the afternoon off to run errands. I was having a great afternoon until I found out a great hs teacher was killed in a car crash yesterday.
For anyone #invested in my facial lady appointment vent/drama the other day, I ended up going today which wasn't ideal for me, but anyway.
It was awkward when I got there and she said, "See? We made it work!" I really wanted to say, YOU didn't make it work, I made it work. I took time off of my work to come at a time that was convenient for you. Then she made a very "just you wait" type comment about how I'll know what it's like in a few years. No. Fuck that.
In a few years, if my daughters are in soccer or whatever other activities, my H & I will take turns going to games/events or if absolutely necessary have a grandparent or friend when we have work-related conflicts. Hopefully not all the time, but that's life and it's called being an adult. Especially when you own your own business. It's part of the sacrifice you make. I took my kid to work with me this afternoon because I had things that needed to get done and that's just what I needed do.
I did enjoy my facial and my skin looks fantastic, so rant over.

DD is getting better at telling us what she wants for dinner. Makes me life easier. I'm under no illusions that it's perminant but I'll take it while it lasts. Last night she wanted oatmeal. Tonight she asked for a sandwich and oranges. Done kid!

DS loves to play the game where you take people's noses, eat them, then spit them out and bop them back on.
Well he discovered his penis during bath time and decided to play the same game with it. I never thought I'd hear 'I ate my penis!' said with pure enthusiasm.
