DS has suddenly started waking at 7 every morning on the weekends.. he used to reliably sleep until 8 or 8:30. Luckily DH gets up with him and has let me sleep in until 7:30 when E wakes up this weekend but it makes weekends a little more difficult without any morning quiet time.
Hi y'all! I had a baby on Thursday! I wrote up my birth story. We are home recovering now....I love her so but I forgot how tough the first few nights of non stop feeding are! Hope you are all well!
After all the cluster feeding I complained about in the breastfeeding thread last night he started one last feeding about 10pm then fell asleep for almost 5 hours! I woke up, fed & changed him, then he went down for another 3.
I'm really hoping to not have to deal with cluster feeding every night, but at least he rewarded me for all the effort!
That's what generally gets me through the agony of cluster feeding. Usually they are filling up and will sleep longer afterwards!
We're headed to a benefit for my friend and colleague that passed away over the summer. I'm glad that baby is still in so we can go, I just hope I don't get too emotional seeing DD play with her daughter (same age). I've been very weepy these last few days and a lot of students will probably be there.

We got released yesterday! We were expecting to be there until the evening but his levels lowered so much overnight that our ped discharged us after her rounds in the a.m.
OMG the transition to toddler bed is not going well. He's screaming at the top of his lungs the second we leave the room. I don't understand, he sleeps on a cot at daycare and his teachers says he does just fine.

I'm no help there @snuff9861. We still have to lie down with DD in her twin bed to get her to sleep. Speaking of, my Mom is here and is handling bedtime. She also did the dishes - I could get used to this.
We're going to check out freezers today. I realized that if I pump once a day until I go back to work and continue getting 10oz per pump, I will have over 900oz by the time I go back. There's no way our regular freezer will accommodate that.
That's what we had to do with DS and I'm using it again for DD. I've been pumping a month and already have almost 700oz and I don't always get 10oz per session so you should be able to get 900 no problem!
