We just got back from the mall. I spent a bunch but i got a bunch if bras and underwear . We made it to the older library group and man was it crazy. So many kids. I have never seen w intimidated but he definitely was. I think I might keep bringing him to that one though. It works out better for naps and obviously the kids are more active because they're 2 yrs+.
packmomma I don't know the girl who is potentially in labor but her BF has been MH's good friend since elementary school. I remember having a lot of BH at one point with E (maybe around 36 weeks?) And briefly freaking out so hopefully it's something like that. I don't think she has been getting consistent prenatal care though, which worries me a bit.
I'll definitely post a pic from the u/s! I have some already from earlier but I think the last was around 19 weeks & 2D.
I don't want to jinx it but... J has now pooped on the potty, without us prompting him, 5 of the past 6 days. He might finally really be getting the hang of this!
joi922, yay for voluntary poops on the potty! Pretty soon he'll be doing this:
ampaints, it's totally normal for him not to be walking right now. Beau took forever and wasn't even standing without holding on to things and then a week later he was walking
E has finally figured out the walking toy! She is pushing it while walking instead of just playing with the buttons on the other side. Hopefully she will walk for real soon.
Also ampaints on your post about crawling to kindergarten, I told DH that E would be crawling across the stage for her graduation. I'm pretty sure she could walk if she tried but she really loves to crawl, haha.
amberlie I kind of feel the same about M. He's actually taken a few steps, but his interest isn't really there. I know he'll walk before to long though. I'm ready for him to move rooms at daycare though, all his "friends" are there and none of the babies are really at an age to play with him much.

Sooo w learned how to carry one of his empty plastic bins around and today he carried It over to the door and is right now rattling the door know trying to figure out how it works. he also has two marks underneath his lip where he almost bit through it when he fell yesterday (didn't notice the marks until today and he didn't really cry when he fell 10 millions times yesterday so I actually don't know when it happened). I don't know what to do with him.
thewop, I am constantly looking at houses and we are still 12-18months away from even getting pre-approved. It has basically become a hobby of mine. Then I go home and hate my house even more.
amberlie, FX that baby stays in! I also can't wait to see pictures of H!
tuscanlatte, crazy Canadian adventure pictures are a must! L looks pretty pleased with daddy dinner!
I am on the late shift at work and I am doing the least.

Wow I dropped that in a weird place. Sorry ampaints and amberlie . I do think that your kids will figure the things in their own time and that it's like a snowball. Where they learn one thing and see the benefits (more freedom and exploration) and then keep improving. W is early on physical but not on schedule for verbal. It just doesn't interest him as much. He can get his point across by pointing so I don't think he cares to learn more. Eta fat fungers

Yeah FINGERS not fungers. Also I'm not discounting the worry it causes when your kid isn't hitting the milestones when you think they "should" be. I get that way with W's verbal. But I try to remind myself that there is a huge window for "normal" though and that they'll meet them when they meet them. Doesn't always get rid of the anxiety but sometimes it helps.
I'm not really anxious about it like I was worth crawling. M isn't terribly verbal either, but then again I think H and I generally get him what he wants without him having to be terribly verbal. He's proven to me before that he's doing things in his time frame. It wasn't long ago that he really stayed cruising and he does great at it now. I took one of his waking toys in the hall earlier and he did really well with it, but then he lost interest. Kid got my stubborn streak 😊
packmomma I'm not really overly worried about it. Her pedi said that anywhere between 9-15m is normal range for starting to walk. She has hit every one of the physical milestones at the later end of the range... rolling at 6m, sitting unassisted at 7m, crawling at 9.5m, etc. She's been at the early end for social ones. It is kind of annoying when ILs continuously ask if she's walking, why isn't she walking, etc. But their only frame of reference is her cousin.. he was born 3 days before her and has been walking since 11m. So until her pedi says it's time to worry, I try not to be concerned or push it too much. I know she'll figure it out when she decides that she wants to.

We had a "welcome back" BBQ tonight at DS's school. It was fun but I was starving & the portions were a little small. DH is on his way home from work and going out of his way to stop by my favorite Italian restaurant to pick up my favorite entree. I can't WAIT!
