Question for you guys... I know I kind of have a high maintenance kiddo, but just wondering what your average days look like at home? I've gotten to the point with E where he can entertain himself for about 20 mins before he starts to get fussy and want to do something else, or want to walk around with me in the carrier. It's still exhausting... should he be able to entertain himself for longer periods by now? When does this start to get easier?
Not sure if you mind screen time? I put on a you tube channel called little baby bum. It's just songs and nursery rhymes and we sing a long.
DS1 watches this on my phone all the time - I use it to bribe him to sit on the potty. Not even a little sorry.
My supply is tanking and I'm not sure how I feel about it. My right boob is particularly bad.
I'm so frustrated with work. I never know where I'm going from one week to the next. I've been sitting in our main office for an hour with no direction. In the mean time I'm paying for parking and it took an hour and a half to get here. It feels like such a waste.

E is trying to figure out how to move forward. It's hilarious to watch because she has it very wrong. When she's trying to reach something she lifts her arms and legs off the ground so she's just on her belly. Like she's sky diving. Won't get far that way.
Anyone know what the Motrin dosage is for a 20 pound baby?
Just got the dosage from our doctor for J today - he's 23 pounds and should have 2.75 ml of the infant formula. Doc said the dose on the box is 3/4 of what he recommends based on weight, FWIW.

23 lbs! Holy moly!
Haha, yeah, he's kind of a big baby. But he's long too - not just fat.

SheilaTheTank , hope your move went smoothly! Yay, new home!! YOUR home!
Thank you! We are in. The next time I think of moving with an infant someone needs to smack some sense into me. K's room is mostly done and so is the kitchen. Everything else is a disaster. The movers were worth every penny though.

I'm going to sit with you in your corner and hold your hand while both of our supplies tank. Righty never worked well for me from the beginning.
readinglove, your kiddo is like twice the size of K! lol.
Ha! That's awesome! He's basically the size of a 10-11 month old. And he has so skewed my perception of babies of a normal size - everyone seems so tiny! The down side is people expect him to be so much further developmentally because he's so big.
J's been holding steady at 20lbs for a few weeks. He dropped his MOTN feedings and isn't really making up for it during the day or eating enough solids to make up for it either. Maybe he is just finally slowing down/regulating his weight gain. I'm a little bit worried that he is missing those calories even if he is big.

My H had this problem when he was a baby. His mother told him that people actually thought he was mentally handicapped and made comments to her when he was a baby because he looked so much older just because of his size.

Ohhhh...that's awful. Hopefully we won't run into that.

Playing catchup tonight. Taking care of a super sick kitty as well as a 6mo is tough. For days he would just lay next to his water bowl and only go the foot or so to a small litterbox we set up for him. He wouldn't eat until he was on prednisone. On the one hand I feel bad since I know it's suppressing his immune system, which means the cancer will spread more, but it's been good to see him a little like his old self for bit before we have him put down. I'm going to miss him
