Has anyone started having bona fide "pregnancy cravings" yet? Or do we all think they're bunk?
I genuinely think I had strange, out of nowhere cravings when I was pregnant with DD that would fall under the pregnancy cravings umbrella (specifically boneless buffalo wings, then baby dill pickles, then Starburst jelly beans), and also times when someone mentioned a food and it sounded so good I told DH it was a pregnancy craving. So I'm not sure what I think.
Okay, so the story is kinda funny now but... When I was 9w with DS, DH came home from a week at school (long story, don't ask). I saw him and immediately burst into tears because he didn't bring home egg rolls. Granted, I never called or told him I wanted egg rolls. He ended up at the Chinese food place at 9pm to get me egg rolls.

Is anyone feeling movement yet? I swear I'm getting flutters. Then again, I've had phantom baby kicks since my son was born two years ago, so who knows?

Nada. I can't even find the heartbeat anymore. I thought I found something close the other night but I lost it quickly.

Nope. Just gas lol. Like you, I've had phantom kicks since DS was born so... But I also can't find the heartbeat on a Doppler yet. I occasionally think I find it for a split second but I think TM is hiding under the one artery and doesn't want to be found lol

I would go bonkers with my own Doppler. I'm probably not feeling movement either, but I'm so ready. It's the only thing I really like about being pregnant. It should be happening soon for us STM, early April-ers!

The first time I thought I did was last night but I think it was just phantom kicks like I've had since I had DD 2.5 years ago. The "movement" I felt yesterday was waaaaay too strong to have come from such a little baby.
DH made chicken soup on Sunday and the whole house (particularly our bedroom) still stank of it so bad last night that I opened our windows in our bedroom before going to bed. Well, it got down to 48* last night so it was freezing in our room and I kept waking up because I was so cold, but still couldn't get motivated to get out of bed and shut the windows, so I slept like crap last night. So tired today.
Your house must be laid out the same as ours. Our bedroom always smells like whatever we made for dinner and I hate it!! I can't go to sleep when my room smells like onions or chili or whatever. Our bedroom is also almost the farthest room away from the kitchen so this makes no sense to me.

I don't think I've felt any movements. I'm still get pinching like sensations tho. I'm not really sure what movement would feel like so I probably won't know what's up until my whole belly does an earthquake movement.

Just got back from my doctors appointment she found baby and said it's heart rate was in the 160s. She gave me the counsyl kit for the non invasive screening. Very excited that they said it will be free

mustloveerica I didn't feel anything with my first until week 23 and I didn't consistently start feeling her until week 25-26. Anecdotally I also had an anterior placenta.

I have one anterior and one posterior. So it'll be anyone's guess when/if/who I'll feel move haha.

Yes, DD's bedroom is the only one further away than ours, but sometimes our room just clings to food smells. It doesn't even face the kitchen. What the heck.

For me (and I've read that this is common) it felt like when your eyelid has a muscle twitch at first.
We gots a heartbeat on the Doppler! Someone decided to play nice for me tonight but I don't trust the reading it's giving me compared to timing what I hear

I want to eat my cashews but if I eat them now I probably won't be hungry for dinner. But if I DON'T eat them now then I might be like FAMISHED by the time dinner comes around. Decisions, decisions.

The algorithm it uses can be wacky. I assume sometimes it's sort of picking something else up in addition, or else it isn't picking up every single beat that you hear. Last time I recorded it and manually calculated a rate at least once, this time I've just decided it sounds about right.

It's reading lower by about 20-25bpm from what I'm hearing/counting but I'm assuming some of the issue is my batteries are old (like, from DS old) and I'm using aloe instead of ultrasound gel since I ran out. I'm just glad to find it finally
