DH took a later train than usual into the city so we had a much easier start to our day. It was so nice to have some extra help getting all the girls up and fed.
I finally worked up the courage to take all 3 girls out myself! We went to Target this morning and after I had a full cart of stuff, the lights went out! I feel kinda bad but I left my whole cart there. They only had 2 registers opened and the line was huge! There was no way I was waiting in that with 3 kids under 20 months.

Eh, don't feel bad! I bet you weren't the only one to bail on their cart. I've been in Kohls when the power went out and tons of people left their stuff and walked out.

E is officially up a pound from her birth weight and our ped released us from coming back for weight checks. She gained almost 6 oz since Monday! The nurse said she could tell things were going better just by my general demeanor today and that I looked less stressed :-) We've been running around so much this week I am looking forward to being home the rest of today (other than daycare pickup) and all day tomorrow.
DS slept in his big boy bed from 7pm-6am with two wake-ups that DH manage to get him back down quickly both times! Dh is home today to catch up on sleep. I'm still pregnant. Le sigh. Though (TMI) my plug finally came out last night and today I feel extra swampy so hopefully things are heading in the right direction. Due date is Sunday.

I just brought both kids to the Children's Museum solo. Fortunately, E slept in the ergo the whole time and C was pumped to get out of the house. She may have caused my death if we stayed in all morning. She was driving me crazy.
Hooked up to my NST at the moment. I'm 2cm, 50% effaced. More than I got on my own with my daughter.
The doctor scheduled induction for Wednesday morning, but they just told me they're full and asked me to move it to Monday. I said no because I'm trying to avoid it, so we'll see what they come back with.

Hi gals! Hope you're all having a great day!
Induction live blog: got the epidural an hour ago and feeling much better. It was a pretty rough couple of hours there but I'm now 5-6 cm dilated and almost completely effaced, so things should move faster from here, hopefully. Baby & I both had some heart rate issues right after the epi which was scary AF but things have calmed down now.
fem , sending tons of labor vibes your way - based on merryrissmas update, we may be the last PG members of S16! My NST this morning looked great, but still no signs that baby wants to arrive. My midwife did a membrane sweep since that seems to be what sent me into labor with DD at 5 days past due. FX it works again - so far just some cramping/random contractions going on. My doctor scheduled an induction for Monday morning (12 days past due). Still hoping I go on my own, but at least I know there's an end in sight.

We might be baby day twins. They ended up scheduling me for Monday, and the nurse said I have to call the doctor's office to refuse if I don't want to, but the doctor wouldn't schedule it after Wed.
I really don't want to be induced, but I also really don't want to go back to work next week and I don't know how much difference a few days will make.
Good luck merryrissmas, hope the rest of the process goes smoothly!
I've been handling insurance stuff most of the morning. They're still denying coverage for my anatomy scan. They paid my and K's hospital bills, though I may get a bill for the leftover $3k from the hospital. I have the money for it, but I hate to dump that much cash all at once. Maybe they'll let me do payments. Best case scenario they take paypal and I can use my 6 months no interest on that. I called their billing group this morning to get some info, but all they can see is that I have stuff pending in their system.
All in all, I'm thinking $3k is not that bad for an induction, 2 nights in the hospital (the induction night and 1 postpartum), labor and delivery, etc.
Really hard to bring me down today, since K is back well above birth weight AND she let me sleep for four hours straight before her first MOTN wake-up.
So, baby hasn't gained any weight this week so we have to supplement. We had the same issue last time but I thought we were doing much better this time. He's grown 1 inche since birth though.
We did all the supplements and extra pumping last time and it didn't do much, so I had decided to not go that route this time.
We went out as a family for the first time today. Took advantage of our aquarium membership. The baby slept in the ktan the whole time but the toddler wanted to run around so I got to push an empty stroller.
So far NST is not going so well. She is having some dips in HR as well as not having the accelerations needed to "pass". Nurse is calling dr :\ do not want an induction today!

It took forever to get through that last cm, but we're finally at 10, just waiting for baby to come down a bit more before pushing. Come on little guy!
