danielle, we've been using them on the recommendation of the ped since E hadn't pooped. I'm not great at remembering to keep up with them but haven't noticed a ton of difference. E is gassy either way but burps are maybe easier to get out when she's been taking the drops?
The gas drops help by allowing bubbles to merge so it makes it easier for them to get out (or so I've heard). So they will still be gassy but it should pass sooner.
The dollar store is one of the best inventions ever in my opinion. They just opened The Container Store by my house and I'm oddly excited about the idea of going and getting things to organize the house with.
There's a Container Store in my hometown. It. Is. AMAZING!
We'd have to take out a second mortgage if we had a container store anywhere close to us.
Still bummed I'm not going to the Red Sox game, but I know it's the right call. Thankfully they're televising the Ortiz celebration so I'll get to watch it from home at least.
Excited football starts at 9:30am this week too. Only good thing about them having a game in London.
Which means it started at 6:30am out here. But the toddler wakes up then so the whole family was up and saw the whole game.
Do any of you guys use gas drops? Did you ask your pedi first or just start using them? Alex seems to be having a lot of discomfort from gas and massage and bicycle legs don't seem to be helping.
Our pedi said she recommends them over the gripe water and that they're usually effective. Apparently her concerns about gripe water is that it's not really regulated and so there's no consistency from brand to brand. Also, there have been reports of some less reputable brands having not so good stuff in them.
