What are some of the major character traits you see coming through with your LO? Are they shy? Social? Sensitive? Positive? Demanding? Rough and tumble? Meticulous?
It's exciting to see their personalities starting to form!

Bud is overall happy, social, adventurous, rough and tumble, and has an independent streak. Pretty chatty, too, when his adventurous spirit isn't wrapped up in overwhelming observation. Definitely not meticulous and hardly ever shy.

J is so alert. She has been since day 1. She is always watching and investigating things. That's the #1 comment I get about her. Always looking. She's also so social- she loves meeting new people and smiles so easily. She loves our music class teacher. She's pretty easy tempered and just happy.
She is very attentive at story time too! She sits and watches carefully. I cannot wait to see how she does in school.

DH and I were just talking about this. It's interesting. DS1 was very reserved, kind of rigid, and shy. DS2 was a daredevil, very persistent, and stubborn. They both are the same way now that they were as babies.
K is very social. She's chatty and smiley. She loves when people talk to her and loves to meet new people. She loves music and does this cute little shimmy type thing with her head and shoulders. She is going to be my outgoing, social butterfly.
I can see that D does not like to feel left out. He wants to be a part of everything. But he's also an easy going kid. He takes his big sis's rough and tumble ways in stride. He's a lot like my dad. He just sits back and observes.

LO is very curious, persistent and meticulous. She likes to study an object before deciding the best way to put it in her mouth. There are so many times when I'm just like how does she know to do that? She loves new things. She will often rotate things so they are right side up before chewing on them. Like if you have her the remote upside down she will flip it over so that the sensor is up, buttons face out and then chew the top.
She has been alert since day 1. Number one comment we get as well. And always have. She is still pretty cuddly, especially when tired but also likes to wiggle and crawl all over the place. When she is in a good mood and it's just us she can play independently but she does not like new people, or non mom and dad people in general. She generally requires I keep a hand on her when others are around. She does like other babies and little kids though, just not adults. She loves to watch big kids and now to crawl over to them, etc. She is really chatty at home but not when other people are around, so I guess a little shy?
She is pretty serious. She makes you work for a smile and she does not laugh a lot. So far we have only found 2 things that really make her laugh consistently, but overall she seems happy and pleasant, just serious, which is also how you could describe me, well maybe not the pleasant part. Lol.
My guy is so curious. He doesn't want to miss a minute of action. We have taken him to disney a few times and he observes everything. He even enjoys meeting the characters, he is not afraid. He is adventurous. He talks a lot and yells. He enjoys seeing other kids in action. He is with our 4yr old nephew most of the time and he idolizes him. He does have dad's stubbornness. We love him just the way he is!
I can see that D does not like to feel left out. He wants to be a part of everything. But he's also an easy going kid. He takes his big sis's rough and tumble ways in stride. He's a lot like my dad. He just sits back and observes.
This! My LO gets so upset if we leave him out for just a min!

E is usually a very happy baby. Crying is rare unless she's over tired or overstimulated from her sister. She smiles like crazy. More in a day than her sister did the first 6 months of life. She also loves to laugh. Last night we learned she cracks up if i fake cough.
Most people who see her when we are out comment on how calm she is. I've been asked by friends if I ever forget about her.
She can also be very very loud.
If she's tired she plays shy with others.
Really she's kind of all over the place in personality. In general though a happy smiley baby.
In general J is happy unless he is overtired. He smiles and babbles all the time. People comment on how observant and happy he is when we are out. He doesn't like to miss anything either to the point that it interferes with naps. He's super social and will pretty much let anyone hold him. DH and I are both introverts so it will be interesting to see how his personality develops as time goes on.

V is a mini version of her daddy. She is determined, strong-willed, tenacious, and has a horrific temper (ever seen a 6 month old throw a temper tantrum because she fell down trying to take a step? well I have). She is graceful and precise in everything she does. She loves chatting and smiles at anyone who looks at her, but is otherwise very calm.

Evelyn has a sense of humor. She laughs alot and loves to be on the move. She wants to be included when we play with Isaac. She loves to watch his shenanigans and he loves to have an audience. She doesn't cry often but when she does, it is loud! Not like her brother lol. She also is very observant of people before opening up and smiling. She waits for our reactions to a new person before interacting. She loves music and rolling around. I think rolling around to music is her favorite thing besides being bounced. She also babbles alot. She can repeat some words and will call DH Dada and me Mama or Mommy. She will repeat Hi and Hey. She loves to chat just like me lol.
cinnamonsmiles- She is taking steps? Whoa!! She is growing fast!
Not successfully, but she wants to. I feel mean for saying so, but it's so funny when she tries. She will make eye contact, give me a look like "I got this, mom", and then fall flat on her face. Girl's got confidence for days though, I'll give her that.
I've got a mean girl on my hands... she thinks making kids cry is funny. She'll scream (like a happy exercise of vocal cords) at daycare and scare another LO, he cries and she cracks up every time. Then at home if one of the other kids cries for whatever reason she laughs!
A is the more easygoing baby I've ever seen. We rarely hear her fuss or cry. She loves to watch the big kids play and she loves blowing raspberries. I have a feeling she's going to be a late crawler because she's so content to just stay wherever and watch. We go to a park program most weekdays and the other mom's always comment on how happy and content she is, either in the carrier or in the stroller.

J is a smiley kid. He likes to flirt with girls, no matter the age. He's usually pretty happy, until he's not. Then either food or sleep typically solve that. He's observant, and likes to see what's going on around him. He's also pretty independent, and likes to play on his own.
