I emailed my principals before school started to let them know I'd need time to pump, please schedule my duties before and after school.
No response.
I reminded my principal at the staff meeting before school. 5 days later, schedule is released, all of my duties are during breaks. Email principal again.
No response.
An updated duty schedule is released today because some things were switched around. Finally! I take a look - Noop - still duties during breaks.
I sure hope I finally get a response to this email because of i don't I won't be going out for my scheduled duties and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have people pissed at me.
I basically framed it as "we can reschedule my duties to other times, or you can find someone to cover my classes while I pump"
Mamas that are dairy free: what the heck do you eat? Everything has milk protein in it. Every. Damn. Thing.
As of right now I am dairy, egg, and corn free and while meal planning may take some thought and creativity I manage to have some variety.
I make waffles, pancakes, coffee cake, and can do some muffins without dairy or eggs.
I use coconut milk, the kind you find in the refrigerated section and the canned kind, in a lot of recipes. The refrigerated kind is used in baking and the canned kind is used as a replacement for milk in savory dishes. I use smart balance butter for cookies, veggies, and toast.
For desserts and sweets I have a dairy and egg free zucchini brownie recipe that's good. Oreos are dairy free if you find a store that carries the Menendes distributors Oreos. The other distributor has dairy in theirs. Also coconut milk/almond milk/cashew milk ice cream(s) are really good.
As far as meals go we do a lot of meat and veggie dishes with a few carbs scattered in.
Sample meal plan for this week is:
Ribs and a side (usually a veggie and potatoes of some kind) Tacos (either I make my own seasoning or Kroger's is dairy free) BLT salad Tuna noodle casserole (I use coconut milk in this and can't taste a difference aside from it being slightly less creamy) Chicken stir fry with noodles Chili mac made with the leftover chili from our freezer Pork chops and sides
I have a lot more meals that are compliment as well.
Snacks are usually boars head lunchmeat and crackers, fruit, and veggies with hummus. I have been loving apples dipped in honey roasted peanut butter lately.
This was probably a longer answer than you thought you were going to get! PM me if you need recipe ideas or tips about where to shop, what to look for, recipes, and anything else I have a ton!

Thank you for the info! I will probably be PMing you over the next few days for some suggestions because I think I'm gonna give the dairy-free diet a try. I suspect an allergy, I just don't know what. I wish the pediatrician wasn't so #breezy about the whole thing. It's super frustrating because I just wish someone could tell me the problem & the solution instead of me doing a guessing game to figure it out.

I would start by eliminating dairy and then hopefully you will notice a change in 2 weeks to a month. If you are still having problems I would then move on to eggs then wheat and corn if you want. When I was doing IF treatments I was completely paleo so I have recipes for being free of all 4. After you are free of milk it may be easier to track and see if there are other reactions to different foods.
