Where is everyone at with the peri bottle? When will you stop using it or have you already? I'm 2w 3d pp and I'm still using it but I'm not bleeding much.

I stopped after about a week but I didn't have any tears.
I used the peri bottle until I stopped bleeding. But I had 27 stitches so...
Woah! They didn't tell me how many stitches I got, but I only had a 2nd degree tear...
It's so frustrating because sometimes I have to pee sooooooooo bad but I have to wait for the water to heat up to fill my bottle because my sink is on the other side of the bathroom from my toilet...

Is your bathtub nearby?
Nope, it's further... the bathroom is stupid large for some reason. But the shower and toilet room are literally 3x3. We've talked about how badly we want to remodel the bathroom, but it's a rental so...

Just got back from the MWs. Baby girl's head was blocking my cervix. They brought it forward (no guarantee that it will stay there though) and I'm at 3cm but it's still long. Induction is going to be scheduled for next week.
I think I used the bottle for a week and only when I remembered. I used it mostly to clean the blood. I only had a tiny tear on top, so I didn't really touch it when I wiped. I didn't have any stitches. Last time I think I used it for 2 weeks. I had one stitch.
I forgot to bring my peri bottle home from the hospital. I've just been dabbing and luckily my bowel movements have been right before I shower most days.

You're getting there! I bet if you had to be induced your body would take over pretty well on its own.

I get to at least skip the cervidil and likely the balloon. Depending on what the hospital's schedule looks like next week,;we may opt for the mws to break my water Monday (happy thanksgiving to me) and see if that jumps start things and then go with the pitocin

I had to bring both kids to the pedi today for 9am. We made it. The toddler got antsy at the end (they both had an appointment), but I bribed her with a donut, so she was good. It's so overwhelming to tend to both kids still. I'm sure it'll get easier, but if they're both awake I struggle to handle them both. E's appointment went well. We're going to start him on ranitidine in hopes it helps his possible reflux. He's 11 pounds, 4oz and 22.25" long. Doing well. His diaper rash is infinitely better from yesterday! Next appointment is 2 months.... damn shots. I hate that appointment so much.
@snuff9861, I hope they are able to break your water and you go into labor naturally
annapunkalunka, I don't know how all of you are doing it with more than one. Lots of credit from me. Sounds like E is growing well
We had a long day yesterday between my MW appointment and a family dinner for Rosh Hashanah. S slept from 6:30 PM to 1:30 AM. I tried to wake her up to eat around 8:30 PM and she wasn't having it so I was in bed by 9 and got a nice long stretch, but then my boobs were killing me. I feel so refreshed today

I think I only used it for about a week. I didn't use it in the hospital when A was there for bili lights (4days pp) though but a couple days after when I got home. I still dabbed to wipe for about a week and a half. I had a small tear and some stitches.
It's my first day alone with both kids and I'm kinda terrified. I know I'm super lucky to have had help for so long, but I think it's just made the anticipation worse. I'm so grateful that DD usually sleeps in so at least I've gotten some alone time with my little guy this morning and a cup of coffee.
Solidarity! Tomorrow is my first day. DS1 had MDO until 2:30 today so I got to ease in gently...

Ditto to this!! I stopped using mine and I'm not yet 2 weeks PP.SaveSave
You got this flyakite and cbrandt1 !! Yesterday was my first solo day and it wasn't as crazy as I thought it would be. Granted we didn't leave the house lol.
I'm eating pizza even though I had planned on cutting dairy...woops. I'll start that after this slice.

I stopped mostly after a couple days. I hate waiting for the water to warm up and my tear wasn't nearly as bad this time. But I also use tucks pads for wiping sometimes.
Rough day here All I've done is yell at my oldest and I feel horrible. I'm just so short fused today and I feel like the shittiest mom. I love him so much and it's not him it's definitely me.
We're at a park again today this time with my MIL. She's playing with him and I'm sitting here with the baby. It's really nice out. Wish I was in a better mood.

I used it for about a week and a half since I had done stitches. Dr said they'd dissolve in about 7-10 days so I used it long enough to get past that time frame. But I ended up using cold or cool water most of the time because I didn't feel like waiting for it to warm up.
Everyone with 2 kids at home on their own is my hero! I haven't attempted that yet since we had to keep DS enrolled in daycare full time to keep his spot anyways and tbh he loves daycare so keeping him home to be mostly housebound wouldn't have done us any good. I'm hoping once I feel more in control of our routine that we can do a couple afternoon activities or days out to spend time together. I broke out the swing for napping today. I've been trying to be super mom and get E napping without having to use it but I realized today that I'm being crazy. I just have 11 more weeks with her before she has to completely adjust to something new and my sanity and her sleep is worth more than whatever I was trying to prove by not using it. I was re-reading the happiest baby book and I had forgotten that it advocates for using the swing early on for naps along with the other S's to help baby sleep so I don't feel too terrible.
I'm sorry singingsea we all have those crappy feeling mom days. I hope your day gets better. E will be 7 weeks tomorrow (crazy) and I'm a little sad that I will be packing her newborn clothes away.
cassey910, I can't believe yours is 7 weeks now! Are you getting lots of smiles? That was probably the highlight of the first weeks for us with our son and I'm looking forward to E's first social smiles sometime in the next week or so.
jennybeans DD will be going to daycare at least 4 days a week once family is gone. We're taking her some now to stay in the habit. We also have to keep paying and she's happy there minus clingy dropoffs. I feel some guilt but am focusing on the bonding time with O.
Is anyone using the belly bandit? I used it at the beginning and it felt fine. But now when I try to wear it...I start bleeding pretty heavily and have cramps. It's strange because I used it without issue with my daughter.
