Today we're driving 4.5 hours to my ILs, yay... It's for a good cause though because we're going to see Adele tomorrow night. We bought the tickets before I got pregnant.
I hope today is baby day for the last few ladies that are still pregnant.
Blah... I'm hoping for a nap today. I didn't think it was possible to have a worse sleeper than my son was as an infant. And we started off so promising!
Have fun at the concert sodapop! Good luck on the drive.
Have fun sodapop. Sorry for the rough nights jennybeans, it was so rough with DD. Too early to tell with this one.
Since O didn't cry overnight and just quietly fussed at her feedings I think DH got a good night sleep. He got up with DD at 6 and is currently taking her to daycare.
I'm going to pick her up early cause our friends are going to come play and meet O. I teach with the Mom, our toddlers are 4 months apart (and have the same name) and our babies are 2 months apart. Going to be fun watching all these girls grow up together.

Lol pretty sure that's just me, and MAYBE pippacricket (but I hope not) Have fun at Adele
Today is our anniversary and I really thought baby girl would be putting in her appearance. At this point in my pregnancy with DS I had gone to the hospital in the early morning as contractions were 5 minutes apart. They sent me home but by the evening I was back at the hospital. Baby girl has less than 23 hours to show up her big brother.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting anyone. 😀
@snuff9861 things can change so fast. I went from nothing to 2 minute apart contractions in what seemed like minutes. LO will be here soon! We are not sick of you we have all been there!

I was feeling almost completely normal for a couple days and did some laundry yesterday, now I feel like I got hit by a garbage truck. Cramps & pelvis pain are back and hemmies are way worse than before, blegh.
On a lighter note, I'm wearing nursing tanks 24/7 and keep forgetting that I stash a binky between my boobs occasionally. Makes me laugh every time I find one.
Argh! Baby was up from 3:30am-5:30am...just grunting, squawking, popping on and off the boob, and crying. I'm so tired. My MIL arrives today...so I am not feeling this day at all.

Good luck! Drink some coffee, or maybe lots of coffee.

I think that's the worst time of night to be up. Hopefully MIL ends up being helpful!
K gave me 2 almost 4 stretches of sleep tonight. Which is good, cause we're not going to get much chance to nap today. Have to check out of the hotel by 11 and H is still in session at his conference until closer to 1, so we'll have to set up camp at a Starbucks or something. Then drive for 5 or 6 hours.
Question for those of you further along in the post partum recovery process. I'm 3 weeks post partum. Up until yesterday I had basically gotten to a point where I was only spotting a little, not much flow and no clots. Last night I started having some minor cramps, a little heavier flow (put it about equal to a light day of a period) and some small (sunflower seed or smaller) clots.
Does this seem normal? My activity level hasn't changed, so I don't think I'm suddenly over doing it.

pismoduo that happened to me. I had almost stopped bleeding then I passed a big-ish clot and bled for a couple hours. Then it lightened back up. I went for a walk. That's the only thing I could come up with for over doing it. My midwife said it was normal.

It seems to be tapering off a bit this morning, so maybe it was something like that. I have been carrying K's car seat back and forth a lot more than usual.

That can definitely do it. I noticed when I started picking up DS1 from daycare and lugging the car seat back and forth it picked up again.
So after the ER trip Monday I'm officially off all dairy, i.e. checking all ingredients, followed up at the ped today and there is still blood but I've only been strict since Monday. Had an X-ray done just to rule out anything else and it looked fine. We go back in a week to see if it works otherwise we start looking at other allergens. We already cut peanuts.
I'm nervous it is wheat. Celiac runs in DH's family, his grandfather and his aunt have it, and his sister and cousin have an intolerance to wheat (probably celiac but didn't test positive for it). I know there are so many worse things but food allergies are tough and hoped my kids wouldn't have to deal with them.
Oh and forgot to add I had my 6 week appt yesterday and my stitches still haven't fully dissolved. So no sex for another 2 weeks, not that I was planning on it anyway.
Anybody have experience with an iud? Since I didn't breastfeed DS1 I had just went back on the pill, but this time I can't and am thinking of doing the iud. Did you like it?
Does anyone else feel like they might accidentally walk into a store/public place with a boob out or shirt up? I feel like I'm close to this point. This morning I walked around with my shirt pulled up for a while and didn't even know it.
So H and I booked our first night away from the boys. December 2nd. Might seem early to some but we're staying in town and both my mom and MIL are staying at our house to watch the boys. We made dinner reservations, booked a hotel, and have tickets to see Jim Jefferies. I wish it was tomorrow lol.

With DD I walked around the Christmas Tree Shop with a boob out. I didn't notice until we got back to my car and took the Ergo off. Thankfully the Ergo hid it... I'm hoping, anyway.
My bum was hurting a bit so I put a Tucks pad on top of my regular liner. Went to the bathroom and the Tucks pad has disappeared. I can't find it on the bathroom floor, tucked under the panty liner, anywhere.
What if it's inside me and I just can't feel it?! I tried to look...
