I'm losing all track of time. I was grocery shopping yesterday and thought, wow, they're putting the turkeys out really early for Thanksgiving! Nope, Thanksgiving is this weekend!
Then this morning I made a mental note to go to the bank tomorrow so I could take DS1 on the Thursday night toonie rides at the fall fair. Yup, that won't work! Bank today.
I have a throat punch... to my aunt. Thanks for buying a craft kit clearly marked "Ages 6+" for my 4yo. Saving her from tears and frustration by doing the #%* thing myself while the baby cried is not my idea of a good time.

Ray I am upset for you! Are they being deliberately stupid?
L is now going to the pantry every 10 minutes and claiming he is hungry. He then tries to reach for the pop tarts and other junk food. I tell him no and he whines that he is hungry. He just ate! This is probably going to be one of those days where he is a bottomless pit.
I got my IUD removed the other day and *knock on wood* my supply seems to have recovered but I am having period like bleeding now. Ugh. I am hoping that it's just from the removal but it wouldn't surprise me if my F'ed up body that doesn't know how to make the proper amount of horemones started having periods while I am still BFing every 3 hours.

sarcaztic10 DS1 is doing the "I'm hungry" thing too. He'll announce his hunger as his dinner is sitting on the table in front of him. I think he thinks saying "I'm hunnn-geee" will get him a snack from the snack basket! (Granola bars, gummies, etc).
We've entered the drooly phase. So much drool! Bibs are going to be a mandatory wardrobe staple.
Same here. The drool is out of character metrology! (lol that was supposed to be out of control but the autocorrect is hilarious so I'm keeping it). My mom tried to say hes probably teething but he's only 10 weeks so I doubt it.
My debit card number was stolen yesterday somehow so they racked up a bunch of charges at places only a few cities over. Thankfully my credit union thought it was suspicious and called me to verify. Ugh I hate having to memorize a new number and switch all my auto payments.

I'm sorry about your debit card! That is such a PITA.
Yeah drooling =/= teething. It's because they are just starting to produce saliva around 3 months. babyscience.info/whats-the-deal-with-baby-drool/ DD1 got her first teeth at 5 months and the pedi said that was uncommonly early.
Need diaper rash help. We switched to cloth diapers on Sunday, and I think he pooped in the car so he sat in poop for a little. Now he has a terrible diaper rash. We are temporarily doing disposable with a ton of Desitin at each diaper change in hopes that it clears up. Any other tips? I feel so badly for him.
Yeah katelou my older son got his first teeth at 4.5 months. It sucked - so much drool and biting while nursing. I'm hoping this baby does not follow in his footsteps.

That's what I thought, so I am glad I'm right. Ha! Also that article says that saliva increases as they start putting their hands in their mouth and it's funny because I was just noticing yesterday how much he tries shove his fists in his mouth now even when he isn't hungry.
Thanks guys. I emailed her back and was like "not sure if you haven't found a solution yet or aren't getting my emails, could you please confirm you got this?" And she just said they're going to leave it as is until I return to work, but didn't say what it would be when I got there. At this point I'm done. I'm just going to show up on my first day and pump during breaks and if they dont have someone covering those duties it's not my fault.

What does the diaper rash look like? Is it a yeasty rash with raised irritated looking bumps or smooth?
L was very prone to yeast rashes and we used a combo of OTC yeast cream and destin to clear it up.

If you haven't already, air dry for a bit before putting the cream + new diaper on. Or naked playtime on a towel for a bit to air things out if you're really committed.

My first was a massive drooler. Like insane amounts of drool. I tried so many bibs and these ones from Etsy turned out to be the best. I buy them as baby shower gifts for all my girl friends. The best. It seems like baby girl is following suit and is a heavy drooler, too.

This is how I feel about the crafts they choose for story time at the library. If I have to do the entire thing this is not enjoyable.
I'm so pissed at our neighbors and their stupid dog. He barks, howls, digs at and shakes his entire crate every time they leave. We live in an apartment and they're above us. Above our bedrooms... H is a nurse and works nights so he sleeps during the day, but nobody CAN sleep during the day because of this idiot dog. They are our "friends" and we have asked them to fix it and basically were told sorry, nothing we can do. When I suggested looking into a bark collar or anxiety meds I was told I was crossing a line suggesting that. My dog has separation anxiety and has used both of those things and they are always asking advice and telling us they wished their dog acted like Rocco. Just a shitty situation and I can't wait until our house is finished and we can leave.

Yes I think it's yeasty bc it's def raised. So they make otc cream for yeast rashes? I need to get some. I hope this doesn't become the norm. I get so frustrated bc one reason we use cloth is to cut down on chemicals against his skin, but both kids got way more rashes with cloth despite me changing them frequently.

rungirlrun we mixed Lotrimin athletes foot cream with Desitin. You could call your pedi and try to get a arc for Nystatin as well

I'm eating dinner alone right now! Alone! It's glorious!
The game is on and DH is watching in the TV room, along with DS1 and L. I served them all dinner in there and decided to eat in the kitchen and no one is looking for me!!!

Also Thundershirts are great for anxious dogs. If their dog is barking constantly you could complain to the apartment complex. I had a friend who had an anxious dog and her complex told her she needed to address the noise or get rid of the dog.
housecarder I forgot about thunder shirts! I have heard mixed reviews but would be worth a try for them. The complex is small, only 12 units so it makes it so awkward to complain about someone. Especially people who are supposed to be our friends. Obviously they aren't but still. I wish they'd just fix it! The neighbors above them can even hear it.

My dog. I feel horrible that I am so frustrated with him. But he's regressed in behavior since A came home. He poops/pees when no one is watching, he paces in the kitchen (clicking his damn nails), barks and growls at noises... He's got such a gentle soul, so I know this is not like him, and before A he was my baby. He's been with us through some of our hardest times and I feel bad that I yell at him, but I'm overwhelmed trying to figure out A that dealing with my dog is just too much.
