Good luck cateyes! I'm sure it's fine, but I know i woukd be a mess too. I spotted with DD and everything was fine. My Dr didn't even give me the reassurance of an US then.

Finally had my first appointment today! My new OB is amazing. He delivered DS and saved his life (long story I'll save for when my anxiety increases in the 3rd trimester) so I switched to him. He calmed down my anxiety about being forced into a VBAC. And most importantly... I heard the heartbeat!!! I had a little spotting last week so I was thrilled. It's getting real up in here. No ultrasound until the week of thanksgiving though. And also going to try the B6. I did stroll into work 2 hours late and didn't stay late enough to make up for the time because I need to vote tonight. Whoops! It's busy season so if my boss calls me out on it, I'm going to tell him.
We just got done a couple of minutes ago. The doctor tried to use the portable ultrasound machine, but between having extra padding in my stomach, a retroverted uterus, and only being nine weeks it didn't work. We had to wait for the ultrasound room to open up. We have a perfect little baby inside and I am starting to feel a bit like a hypochondriac. Plus side to the visit beside the picture in the spoiler, I have started puking a few times a day and the doctor gave me some meds for that. Apparently it is bad to actually puke.

That is the most adorable picture ever, I'm so happy your appointment went well. I can identify with you so much, damn IF changes us so much. I also joined you with the medication, it's such a relief

trebletrouble13 - The uterus looked different for mine depending on where she probed the ultrasound wand, so that's probably part of it, but yes, everyone's is unique!

I haven't been participating in many of the threads around here lately, mostly because I have just been kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop, it felt like.
I am so happy to say that today I had my last ultrasound with my RE, and everything looked perfect! Both babies are now measuring right on time (previously had been 1-2 days behind, which I know isn't a big deal anyways) and they both have perfect heart rates. Baby A is now at 168 BPM and Baby B is at 160 BPM. I finally feel like I can take a breath and actually enjoy this pregnancy and the fact that I am going to be having twins in just 7 short months! I was officially discharged from my RE, and have my first nurse intake appt with my OB on 11/21.

A little late to the game, but that always annoys me too agm04. I only ovulate once or twice a year on my own max, so tracking cycles is critical for me. It drives me nuts when the staff at the doctor's office tries to educate me on why my dates might be different. Especially when they don't seem to know what they're talking about.
Hurray for these good ultrasounds and healthy babies!

I am so happy for you!!! I totally get the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop. I am so glad that you get to start feeling like you can enjoy this pregnancy!!
Went in yesterday afternoon for our first ultrasound. Little one is right on track. Had a steady heartbeat at 162 and was already wiggling around quite a bit! Because I was already 9w1d I only needed the stomach ultrasound and she didn't have to do the transvaginal which saved us about 20 minutes. I was a little nervous going in, I kept having this feeling something was wrong- whether it was not growing at the right rate or no heartbeat. ( I have no idea why since I don't have a history).
