End of the Week - Feelings and Fall

How are you all feeling? How was your week? Looking forward to anything this weekend?

Since I currently can't get enough of it, are you doing anything to celebrate fall this weekend? What's your favorite fall treat or activity?

bexincanada-- I saw your Friday feels post too. I'm going to post here but hope you so the same! Looks like you both got things rolling today!!


I was feeling productive this morning but now indecisive. I can't decide if I should meet a friend out at a street fest with the kids after their doctors spots or go home. I forgot a stroller though. I could wear e and just hold C's hand but I kind of get terrified in busy places with this set up because I can't run after C well if I'm wearing E and there will be cars around at least until we walk to the festival. Maybe L will meet us out but she won't be much help as she has refused to try and wear E and c does much better wiTh me in parking lots (as L rarely takes them out without me!). I could carry E in car seat but that will get old.

I'm excited to be walking a 5k this weekend with my mom and some friends. Wish I was running it but I'm not quite there.

I'm bummed... I'm supposed to be taking some "me time" tonight since I've been solo parenting a lot of evenings. I asked 5 different friends if they wanted to go to a hockey game with me tonight and all of them turned me down.

I'm also feeling under appreciated by H.

We're doing a lot of driving this weekend and seeing family for Thanksgiving so I know I should make the most of tonight but now I don't know what to do.

This weekend will be mostly spent doing hw as I have a crazy school week next week. Though we are going to the movies tomorrow night so that will be fun and I have acupuncture and prenatal yoga on Sunday. Not doing too much to celebrate fall yet. I really wanted to take a walk this afternoon but took a nap instead lol. Today was simply gorgeous though!!!

bexincanada what about a movie, pedicure, take out and TV, or something like that? It def sucks when you have a free night though and just want to chill with your friends!

bexincanada, What a bummer about all your friends being busy! I hope you do take the time for yourself and do something you love.

rosesquared, I'm so bad about talking myself into a walk and then turning it into a nap instead. Good luck with the homework.

Yesterday was crazy, I flew up to San Francisco just for the day to do some work, left on the 6am flight and back on the 7pm. It was fun but exhausting! This weekend will be spent cleaning and organizing for our trip next weekend. I'm very much looking forward to that. We did decorate outside for fall, but the inside isn't quite done yet. We will be hosting Thanksgiving at our house in November so we have some time to get the inside all decked out.

I have a long weekend. We are hoping to do some apple picking O seems very interested. I also have my bike ride on Sunday.

I should've gone for a bike ride tonight, instead I'm in the basement watching hockey, drinking wine, and eating chocolate. Does it count that my training bike is in the same room as me? (c;

Let's see, so far for fall I've/we've gone on multiple hikes, stepped on as many crunchy leaves as possible, drank 2 pumpkin beers with either a brown sugar or cinnamon and sugar rim (decadent but really good!), went apple picking, ate many freshly picked mcintosh apples, took multiple pictures of fall colors, talked about how pretty it is, had a pumpkin donut, and 2 hot apple ciders. Think tomorrow we are going to take M on a hay ride at a pumpkin farm. Have I mentioned before how much I love fall?

We also made apple crisp with our freshly picked apples.

I got my haircut yesterday from my favorite stylist and it's much better than my last haircut was at first. It ended up growing out nicely. Overheard a woman who was also getting her hair cut, 'I look like an 11 year old boy. But in a good way.' I bet rosesquared can guess what city I was in



I went on a glorious rainy 6.25 mile run this morning. My shoes were squishing and water was dripping off my nose but I felt great and like I could have kept going. It was lovely

And we went on an hour+ hike yesterday through the woods. M loved it. She was in the Ergo and was so peaceful and eventually fell asleep.

I'm sure we'll do something active tomorrow.
