madamewaffles yikes! Can you size up his diapers for overnight as To avoid the poop-splosion at 4:30? B is still only popping once a week, but when he does OH MAN it's massive. We use Luvs and haven't had a blow out yet.
Ds1 is off to get his flu shot with H today. I don't think H has ever taken him to get a shot before. And it's Ds1s first one after he stopped nursing. Have fun, H!
We had a miserable night. Poor B has a gross cold. Watery eyes, stuffy nose. He's fine if he's upright but after about 15 minutes of laying flat he's a hot mess.
I'm exhausted. L has been a terror the last few days, and my mom is out of town and my dad works late so I've been struggling with this tiny terrorist on my own. He's also seriously regressed in sleeping. And now he's suddenly moving his head back and forth a lot after eating or when he's drowsy. The Internet tells me that it's autism so I need to step away from google.

Omg yes please step away from Google! Lol at head thrashing in an infant is autism. Sometimes it's just babies being babies! Here is a funny article explaining that sometimes babies so weird shit for no other reason than...babies.

Unfortunately it's not the mess that wakes him, it's the literal explosion that wakes him (and us) up, lol
Sorry about the crappy night! Hopefully the shot wil be okay. Does it help to elevate one side of the crib so B isn't flat?
melody330 my older son got his flu shot last week and it was his first shot in a while. I doubt he remembers the last time he got a shot. He just sat there all nonchalantly and watched the needle go in. He didn't even flinch. He was braver than me! So your son may surprise you!
It's going to be 90 degrees today. Over the hot weather. But we have a birthday party where I'm also friends with the mom so it should be fun. And a mom in a mom's group is letting me borrow a MM Suit and then if it works, I can buy it for cheap. Hoping it works tonight!

I'm unshowered and have a baby tied to me and a four-year-old who's just getting used to no screen time and no plans and no extra money. It's going to be a long day. Maybe we'll go to the playground soon. I hate weekends. My husband works all weekend every weekend, everything is packed, and everyone else has family plans. (I think my hormones are off today. I'm in a crappy mood.)
I just got back from trying to buy new clothes at Kohl's. Both kids wre so horrible, my kohl's cash wouldn't work, and everythjbg I tried on looked awful on me. DD1 was a particularly huge jerk and I cried while leaving the parking lot. Meanwhile DH is at the computer store by himself.
I'm finally feeling well enough to sit up in bed, and I'm able to keep water and popsicles down. I'm starving because my stomach is empty, but too scared to eat. My stomach muscles hurt from throwing up. I highly doubt I will be moving from this bed today.

I'm so sorry! That sounds awful, I hope you feel better soon.

It has been a productive day at the Ray household. SS2 is helping DH lay the new flooring in the living room and SS1 helped me put non-scratch pads on the bottom of all the furniture and rake the front yard while I wore F. Then he watched F while I folded all the laundry. Winning!

We did all our food shopping this morning. I got a lot of veggies at the farmers market. The fall veggies are coming out so I will need to start incorporating them into my meal plans. In a bit H is going to take L to Whole Foods to pick up a couple things we can't find at our local stores while I stay at home with S.

We drove 45 minutes to SS1's hockey game. Upon arrival, SS2 goes "woops - I forgot my pill". So I drop off DH and the other two and drive back home. I let the dogs out and go to the washroom and say "ok if you're ready lets go". We get to the end of our road and he says "....I forgot my pill again" AGH! Lol apparently he went looking for his water bottle to take his pill, then realized he was hungry so went for a granola bar, at which point I let the dogs back in and he pet them, then realized he had to go to the bathroom, and once he did that he felt ready to go lol.
The he says "I forgot to take my pill..thats why I forgot to take my pill" lol yay adhd problems lol

I did this 2 weeks after HK was born (or lost all my pictures at least). I was so devastated so I can empathize

jenn83, She is so pretty! I absolutely love that unfocused blissed out stare that babies this age get, like they're seeing the most fantastic thing off in the distance.

It was a good day! Had lunch at a pub on the patio with my gang, stocked up on goodies at the last farmer's market of the season, had a super casual Thanksgiving dinner with my ILs.
Just finished watching We're the Millers, I really enjoy that movie! Once again I'm up way too late and should have been in bed half an hour ago. But kid-free time.
I finally turned the corner this afternoon. I've had some crackers and a bowl of cereal, along with a ton of water. But I think I slept too much today because its around my usual bedtime and I'm still wide awake. 😳
@littleshobo - yes Pampers is all we've used so far - we're just about half way through our stash from DH's diaper party. But good to know that Kirkland work too! We will probably switch to those or maybe give Parents Choice a try once we actually have to start paying for them lol
Good morning! I'm up with the kids and letting DH sleep in--he earned it by taking care of both kids all day yesterday while I was laid up in bed. I feel much better today, but still have a slight headache that feels a bit like a hangover, probably from dehydration. Today is supposed to be beautiful, so I'm hoping to get a little yardwork done while DH watches football. And I'm giddy about watching the debate tonight--I really hope the recent developments with Donald Trump are the final nail in his coffin. As a mom of girls, I'm horrified at the thought of that assclown becoming the leader of the free world.

I want to do absolutely nothing today but I need to finish getting the house in order. My Nanny was suppose to come down for the week to help out since it's my first week back but she's stuck in GA because of the storm. I'm scared I won't be able to adult. 2 kids has been okay while I'm on maternity leave but I just don't know if I can do it working full time. ðŸ˜
