pttomato, it drives me crazy, especially since I have two babies and people are always comparing them. In the beginning G was much fussier so M was labeled the "good" one and now she is chilling out and he's not sleeping as well so people (family) will say things like "he used to be the good one!" I am vigilant about telling everyone that BOTH my babies are wonderful and a bout of fussiness or a poor night's sleep doesn't change a thing.
Having a nice weekend. Yesterday H was supposed to work in the morning but I was sooo tired so I asked him to stay home (it was an optional thing, he didn't have any specific responsibilities). He took care of the babies and I slept until 11! Then my grandma came over for a few hours to see the babies.
This morning the babies have been up since 6 but again H took care of them until I woke up at 10! I couldn't believe it when I woke up and realized how late I had slept.
Now we are going to attempt brunch with H's grandma and cousins. It will be our first time taking them to an indoor restaurant so I'm nervous. Also it's raining out, but the restaurant is only two blocks away so we will just put the rain cover on the stroller and hope for the best.
H wanted to cancel but I'm excited for my meal lol

Hopefully the stroller puts them to sleep and they remain that way. We took DS (and DD) out to do dinner at his fussy time. We kept him in the car seat and he slept the entire time. So basically every night we need to go out haha. Good luck and enjoy brunch!
Thanks meagpt22! The stroller didn't put them to sleep but they stayed pretty calm and then napped in their carriers... so overall a success! And the food was delicious :-)

Thanks all for the warm welcome!!
We are overall doing pretty well! I figured it's about dang time I intro here since she's hitting some milestones, challenges and triumphs as the other babies here. Glad to bounce between both boards 🙂
DD caught her first bug from daycare Half her room was sent home with diarrhea on Thursday and she started having it on Saturday. No fever and she's eating fine, but she's extra fussy. I keep thinking "maybe she's better now" and then we feed her and she starts making faces and crying and then another bad diaper.
I started crocheting LO a blanket and now it's all I want to do. It's a super simple one and will probably take me forever but I'm still excited about it!

We just have to wait this out, right?
Wait it out until she stops eating or seems dehydrated! Stinks when they are sick and so little. The first year of daycare sucks for that reason. Then they stop picking up every cold and bug.

Thanks. She's sleeping and eating fine. Not dehydrated. Googling comes up with all sorts of mixed answers so I wanted to make sure waiting it out is fine if she's not dehydrated.
H wants to call the doctor today but I think she's starting to show some improvement.
