We're just getting ready to leave. DD is napping and I might need to wake her up so we can get going and drop the kids off at MIL's. I hate to wake her but she's been sleeping an hour which is generally her norm morning nap. And I can't stand to just sit here and wait when we're all ready to go. DH and DS are pacing.

L slept through the night last night for the first time in months! And on my night to get up with her! I did a jig and DH complained about it needing to be my night again tonight. Lol, not how it works dude.
She was also super cute and snuggly this morning, which never happens. I put her down for a nap and came out to DH and SS already getting in the car to go to taekwondo. So I'm taking full advantage of this rare occasion and now soaking in my bathtub, relaxing and listening to the rain and wind courtesy of the outskirts of hurricane Matthew. I might actually get to shave my entire legs today! It's truly the little things in life.
Because of the shit weather, we're probably staying in the house all weekend. I need to go grocery shopping, but that sounds like a major suckfest.

Happy Saturday!
I tutor this morning. H took X out for an "adventure," which he's started to do on Saturday while I'm working. I think it's so cute and I love that he loves being out with him so much. It's finally gorgeous, sunny fall weather here. We might go to some fall festival in our town today and to a pumpkin patch tomorrow. X is doing mini crawls. Only maybe a foot or two at a time, but he's starting to get it! Guess we should finish baby proofing this weekend.
I would like to go shopping today (I've been saying I'm going to do it all week and still haven't.. it's just such a pain with a baby). He's down for his first nap now, which means I should be using this time to shower and such so we can go when he's up. Buuuut I'd really just like to watch another episode of Gilmore Girls. Hm, choices...

I am currently sitting in my car, parked in my driveway, eating Popeyes's while DD is sleeping in her car seat. There are worse ways to spend my day. And we got some errands done this morning so we can spend the rest of the day on the couch, watching college football and the rain, guilt free.

It's Canadian thanksgiving weekend! We're headed to Grandpas tomorrow to help with a few house things and have a thanksgiving lunch and pie. Monday is our wedding anniversary but we don't really celebrate
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
This morning was spent putting away all the 9mo clothes, S is officially in 12mo size 😢
I ran to a local boutique for a shirt/scarf to wear tomorrow for H's 3 year photo shoot (we do it a month early because that's when the photographer does her mini sessions). Now we are on the way to a pumpkin festival. It's the first time I've gone to this one, I hope it's good. They serve beer and wine so it can't be that bad, right?
Picked up an end table this morning, ran errands, went grocery shopping
Tried to do laundry - tub filled, started to agitate and then just stopped. So h just took all the wet bedding over to MIL's to wash there. He took DS so I could clean up the house (my request). I'm wondering if it's the lid mechanism since that seems to be common but idk.
We're going over to aunt's house for thanksgiving tomorrow so that should be fun.

Thanksgiving weekend for us plus our 6 year anniversary tomorrow.
Today we are out at the in-laws to visit and supper. I'm just taking time out to let L nurse and nap, H's turn next.
Tomorrow we'll do something with the kids (and hopefully tucker them out for an earlier night). After the kids are down, DH is then going to make us supper from scratch and light a fire in the fireplace with a temporary bed in front. He figured since we aren't able to go out we could celebrate at home. I'm excited, we haven't done anything to celebrate the last couple years.
Monday is dinner at my Mom's. We'll probably go over earlier to play in the leaves.
Dinner with my Dad and Step-mom is Tuesday. Can you just imagine what our Christmas looks like?!? It's basically a holiday marathon!
So, I needed this shopping trip to get new jeans. Went to Target. And was "Target-ed." Walked out $108 poorer but no pants in hand. Ha. But we also made it to Kohl's and found jeans for both me and the kid. So, still a win. AND my local McDonald's just started selling all-day biscuit breakfast sandwiches (previously only doing mcgriddles, yuck) so score for me, and hello dinner.
I'm exhausted. DS was up at 4:30 this morning. He took a bottle quickly and went back to sleep for a few more hours but I feel like I'm dragging today.
My mom was here earlier. She gave the kids gifts and then gave me cleaning supplies for the new bathroom. Lol.
My pumping schedule is off by an hour because of my mom's visit. I usually try to do it every 4-5 hours. But I'm tempted to just get the last pump of the night in early so I can go to bed.

The whole family slept in until 8 this morning! DD woke up around 5 to eat an ounce or two, and around 6:30 just wanting to snuggle with her dad for a minute, but besides that she slept for 12 hours. I had hoped to take DD to yoga this morning but that would require leaving the house at 8:30, which wasn't possible.

kellybenelly83 we were probably fairly close geographically too. Our wedding was in Alexandria/Cornwall. There are quite a few F16 anniversaries in October!

Ugh, we left way too late last night. DD1 was overtired and just crying at everything. I'm sooo glad she fell asleep in the car without issue (it's a 1.5 hour drive and I've had her tantrum most of the way before). She's always transferred from car to bed no problem. The babies, however, slept in the car but were bright eyed before they even got in the house. They thought they'd just had a nap so I didn't get to bed until 12:30. This does not bode well for tonight!

DH and DD just left to spend the day with my in laws. I have at least 6 hours of the house to myself. And I am so well rested after last night I don't need to waste any time on a nap!

Morning! We have pictures in a few hours so we are having a hectic morning getting ready. Lazy day for the rest of it I think. DH mentioned leaving to watch football with his friends but we will see.

Have fun at pictures, trtlcrzy! I hope everyone cooperates. :]
We went to breakfast this morning (a perk to baby life is you're up and out of the house before all of those brunch-ers have slept in and left!). The sole reason we went to the place we went is because I wanted their lemon poppyseed pancakes. They replaced them with pumpkin. Sad me. X had pancakes for the first time though and loved them.
I really want to go to a corn maze or pumpkin patch today, but the only one close to us is in trouble for some animal cruelty suspicions. I want an apple cider doughnut!
Lots of anniversaries and pancakes around here! We had such a good day yesterday. Had hibachi, sushi, and sake for lunch. Went shopping, I got 3 sweaters from AE they are soooo soft! DH took me to the jewelry store so I could get my ring cleaned and told me to pick something out. I would like some earrings but they didn't have much that wasn't thousands of dollars. We then went to a bar and had some beer and went to the hockey game. We picked up DD when we got home and DS slept at MIL's overnight. We picked him up this morning and I made homemade pancakes (hit the spot) and we've just been playing games. We bought the old retro style Guess Who at Target yesterday. They have Candy Land and a few others I'd like to get in the retro style as well.
Just going to be mellow all day and we are going over to MIL's for a family dinner this evening.

Awesome day is awesome so far! I finally got to Starbucks to try the new Chile Mocha. Then I went to Wegmans to pick up some mac & cheese for lunch, and ingredients for Jalapeno Popper White Chicken Chili tomorrow (one of you posted the recipe a while ago and I have been meaning to try it - I think maybe it was dreadpiratebuttercup?)
After I finish eating, I am going to vacuum, and then just sit in silence until the family gets home.
