Took DS to the dentist today and he was awesome! E slept through most of it except they were running behind so we were there over an hour and I ended up nursing E in the exam room while we waited. Is anyone else super anxious about naps? I feel like I'm on edge all day trying to put E down for naps and it's causing me anxiety. I need to chill out - she will survive!
I was never strict with nap times with ds until he was like 3 or 4 months.
I remember it getting easier at 4-5 months. I just feel like I'm in a constant guessing game right now and it's not working well with my type a / plan all the things personality...

jennybeans I like control and schedules, too. I'm thinking they start to fall into more of a pattern around 3-4 months. I remember being so nervous sending C to daycare bc she had no schedule (10 weeks)... shortly after she fell into a 3 nap routine. I'm trying to be much more relaxed with his sleep bc I obsessed over C's and it wasn't worth the worry.
Ughhh I'm pretty sure I've got a blocked duct... I don't have a red mark yet, but my right boob is sooooooo sore. I hate this part of breastfeeding so badly!

I used to get them all the time with C. Sooo frustrating!!!! Hopefully you get rid of it quickly and easily!
God what a day. MIL decided to stay down at H's grandfather's for another day (or more, who knows) and H got called into work for most of the day. K has put herself back on an every 2 hour feeding schedule, but it takes 30 minutes between when she finishes eating to when she finally sleeps, so I spent most of the night catching little 60 to 90 minute snatches of sleep. Apparently I was so tired this morning that when he got up to get ready for work he turned the lights on and I didn't even flinch.
K has been super fussy all day today and just really does not want to be put down at all unless she's completely dead asleep. And only stays that way for like an hour, maybe 90 minutes. H finally got home from work, hung out with me and K for a couple of hours, and now has gone to lie down for a bit. I was going to join him, but then K started fussing again.
Just straight up exhausted at this point. Hopefully tomorrow is better.
cbrandt1, I had a plugged duct over the weekend. Seriously sucked. Hopefully yours goes away soon. annapunkalunka, hopefully your little one starts to feeling better soon. jennybeans, we're still basically at the point where I'm not super focused on a specific nap schedule.
