Damnit. I had it in my head that baked goods were okay. I have a couple recipes I was going to try for teeny muffins and breads and such. I'll have to substitute brown sugar or something.
Huh. Oops. I did it in a bread for DS when he was little. You learn something new every day
Well and now that I think more about it.. people give babies graham crackers and honey nut cheerios and such. Wouldn't these things also apply? I'll have to do some more digging.

Those are commercial though. It says methods at home don't get it hot enough to kill the spores.

Agave nectar is safe according to Google, and would probably work in place of honey.
My new stroller is here! Thanks Graco I called Friday at 4pm and it got here today! Impressive. And it's a 2016! I thought they were replacing my old one (2013) with one year newer. I just set it up and I'm so excited to use it tomorrow!

I want a new stroller! I need a new single. I think I like the city mini but I want something with real wheels, but without it being such a jogger looking stroller.
I just ate a giant bowl of cereal. It's been months since I've had cereal. We had supper but I was too busy taking care of everyone else so I didn't eat much, and was starving. DD is probably going to be paying for it tomorrow but I didn't have any self control. I need to get groceries bad.

The citi mini GT is awesome for that (has real tires) but I just looked it up and the new model is sooo $$. Much more than previous models and those seem to be hard to find right now. But if you see one, they're awesome
So my new town (because it's magical and amazing) has personal Santa visits (if you want one). Santa comes to your house, hangs out with your kids, takes pictures, sings them a song, and gives them a gift (that you provide, I guess it got too $$ for them to give each kid a present too). DS's head might actually explode.

I was thinking it didn't have the real tires, I'll have to look. What ticks me off is that apparently it's not a thing to include a tray, cup holder, etc. So after you spend $400 on the stroller, you have to shell out $30 more to store your beverage. 👎🏻

Whaaaa? This seems a little creepy to me. Do you know the Santa?
chocolate the city mini doesn't, but the city mini GT does ETA I have the regular mini and it's total crap on gravel or sand. Plastic tires. Boo. And yup, not cup holders or snack tray. PIA.

Haha it's been the same Santa for YEARS. It's something you sign up for (my friend actually heads the committee). You send them your kids ages and interests and schedule a time. ETA mall Santa visits around here are NUTS at any time of day for weeks before Christmas. This will be our photo opp Luckily I have a kid who LOVES Santa.

Well that's neat! DS likes to look from afar, and that's it. But my sister and her boyfriend dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus and pay a visit on Xmas eve. DS was born on Xmas eve and they came up to the hospital dressed up so I have a picture of him with them as a newborn and we continue to do it every year. But it takes coaxing and he's usually not thrilled in the picture.
Growing up, my siblings would always write to Santa and address and stamp it. Then my mom would send it to my grandpa and he would write a letter back from Santa and stick it in the mail. They loved getting those letters out of the mailbox. We'll do that at some point too. That's really neat about the visits leahks77. I bet they'll love it!

If it's available in your area, I like to bake with pure maple syrup or sugar. Applesauce-based muffins are good too.

Canada Post has a service where you can send a letter to Santa (addressed: Santa Claus, North Pole HOH OHO) and he writes a personalized letter back. I used to do it when I was a kid. Maybe DD1 will be into it this year.
I also have the City Mini GT (not sure how old because I bought it used, but probably at least 3 years old), and I love it too, minus the lack of cup holders. That's really my only complaint. It's good on rough terrain, not huge or heavy, and easy to fold one-handed. I wish the storage compartment was a little more accessible but that's not a huge deal to me.

I was just going to say this! We would still write after we knew it wasn't real but we would put crazy things in our letters and it was funny to see the letters we got back. Asking about what instruments santa and mrs clause played and who their favourite sports teams were. Haha
