You're welcome for the dr pepper craving. I just noticed the cafeteria has fountain dr pepper so that's my shit right now but it's a whole floor away from me so I don't have it often because lazy.
For all you KU'd mommas, I love seeing pictures of nurseries. Share them with me! Also, my BFF is pg and is due March 10 with a girl so I've been helping her get ready and the little newborn clothes she has are so adorable. I can't wait to meet all the babies!

mrsp I'll either post them here or FB tonight. Hunter's room is not fancy or anything but I think it's sweet. I'll try to remember not only to do it but to tag you and heyitsmamac.
Holy shit, that is giant. Are you planning on having more kids after this one?
Probably not, although John has mentioned it a few times. We'll see how number 2 goes.
The reasoning behind such a big SUV is that we want third row seating so we have the option of having more than just the 4 of us in the car. There are tons of SUV's with third row seating, but the issue is that when the third row is up (in use) there is hardly any trunk space. We have a double stroller that we need room for and we travel a bunch because my parents live in NC and FL and we're in Michigan. Every other smaller SUV we looked at doesn't even fit our stroller with the seats up.
I'm also only willing to consider ones with bucket seats in the second row because from everything we looked at, it's a pain to get to the third row by folding up the second row with car seat bases installed. Nearly impossible in some of them (like the Explorer). So while the car seems giant, it still only seats 7, it just has a bunch of cargo space which is nice for us. DH drives a small car because he puts 100k miles a year on it, so it'll be nice that this will be able to double as a truck if we wanted to haul something as well.

heyitsmamac Good luck with the car search! I hear everything you're saying. That's why we got the Acadia. After having it for a few weeks, I'm liking it. The space is ahhhhhh-mazing. It has the captains chairs for the 2nd row. I can fit our stroller in the back with the 3rd row up, but yeah it's tight.
I usually just keep the umbrella stroller back there and can still fit groceries, etc.
EatsRitz i feel you...the waiting is not fun, regardless of how long you have been trying. it took us a year before getting pregnant with my LO and it was just as sucky at the beginning cycles. the first month of ever TTC (before my LO) was exciting and after that it just became a cycle of waiting and being disappointed.

I still totally suck at parking it, though.
IT'S JUST SO BIG!! (twss)
Are you still not getting a double stroller? Ours is freaking gigantic. I don't think it would fit in any car but a limo. It's nuts.

lol! That sounds intimidating. No, we aren't getting one. If I find I NEED one I'll deal with it but my plan is to put Haden in the stroller if necessary and wear Hunter.
I haven't thought far enough in advance to when Hunter is too big for me to wear, but if we get there before Haden is ready to be out of the stroller, I'll have to reevaluate.
Honestly, we don't use a stroller a TON anyways, so I feel like it's just not worth the investment in and hassle of a double stroller.

Definitely. That makes sense. We use our stroller alllll the time. By the time Hunter might be too big for you to wear, you could probably settle for a smaller umbrella style double if need be.
I wish I could babywear. I seriously bought so many different carriers and I just can't do it. It bums me out because its so much more convenient.
ssm DH and I have talked about moving to Charlotte because NC is beautiful and my dad lives there. But now my dad might be moving to Asheville so we're waiting to figure out what he's doing.
I think either sounds like a GREAT idea!! Asheville isn't too far. Charlotte isn't too far either........ :-D

My BFF just texted me and said "I would blow the 50 year old little person that hit on me last night for a pizza right now." So I called Jets and ordered her a pizza to be delivered to her house.
....She better find that guy. I'm gonna need to see this. ;-) LOL
That's so sweet though! OMG imagine one minute you're whining and dreaming about pizza and then suddenly PIZZA.
This is the same friend I gave up Hazel for. Obviously the love runs deep. I texted her and told her it would be there in a half hour. If she's anything like me, if someone unexpectedly showed up at the door, I wouldn't answer and then I'd miss out on pizza lol.

Good call. I never answer my door.
I just always assume it's UPS with a package and they don't actually need me for anything anyway.
I am sitting here sooo impatient for my freaking appt to get my iud removed!!! the appointment was scheduled for last month.....So, here I am, a month later still waiting.... I'm like, can the 24th get here ANY FASTER?!?!?!?!

I am here slowly emerging from stomach virus hell. The last 36 hours reminded me of 1st trimester misery and I was all ready to say "screw going through that shit again!" But I come here and you lovely ladies are talking about your impending arrivals and I go "Awww more babies. I want more babies." Damn you!
