babys2015 - T&Ps for you and C. FX the treatments work quickly! If the weather gets cooler where you are, bundle him up and take him out in the cool air to breathe better.
sjep922, Happy Birthday to R! i hope everyone enjoys dinner out tonight
rvamama, F is sooo cute! I love D's pj shorts over hers
ladymike, That winter getaway sounds awesome!! Would you ever entertain the idea of letting N *try* skiing or boarding?? I have been thinking about when I would see if D would be into it since we all are
portuguesemama, DO NOT TIP. MH is a plumber and he does hot water tanks on the side for people. He can get a tank for between 250-400 and he charges out at a minimum of 1000. So pretty certain that even if the guys are doing it as a favour they are still making well above material costs.
babys2015, I'm so sorry C has croup. It's the scariest sound/thing to witness. When D had it last winter I spiraled so hard anxiety wise. The treatments work really fast though! I hope you guys can get it under control and get him back home asap. FX he's on the mend back to better!

Morning,
We are under severe weather storms and warnings here. SO MUCH RAIN. Our daycare is closing tomorrow due to the warnings which I am thankful for...I would way rather be near my child just in case. So I guess that means another long weekend for us. Now if only he would appreciate the novelty of building a blanket fort to watch Disney movies all day!
maddisonrose, TOTALLY! I think little kids on boards are adooorable and I want her to (hopefully) enjoy our crazy outdoor activities. I can't wait to take her hiking and kayaking and all kinds of fun, haha!
portuguesemama So sorry that you're struggling with N's speech. Hopefully things will move faster with IE once paperwork is out of the way. M was getting mad at me the other day because she was trying to say, "It's a nose," and I had no idea what she was saying. Finally it clicked and she was so thrilled when I said, "Oh, a nose! Yes, that's a nose. Great job!" She kept repeating until I finally caught on. She was so stern and serious and SO RELIEVED when I figured it out, so I get N's frustration.
We incessantly work on words and animal noises and identifying body parts and objects. She's a parrot, which is helpful (and also bad because she learned "Oh shit!").
He will get there. He's a smart kid! I do have a speech language pathologist friend. I can always connect you, if you'd like!

We do body parts 8 million times a day. I'm trying to figure out what parts we're missing that are toddler level. Haha. But he just points to them, never tries to say them.
I've actually been working on some new signs for him because he picks those up so quickly. But just start talking dang it! (And yes, I know I'll regret that request soon)
Also I created a secret group on facebook for m15 as a buy sell trade place for baby stuff. Knowing there are some pregnant, newish babies and monster/little toddlers to see if you need something or are looking to sell.
babys2015 - I'm so, so sorry. My C gets terrible croup every year (some years multiple times) and we always end up at the hospital for breathing treatments and steroids. They do help but it is so freaking scary. Hearing your. Hips struggle to breathe like that is awful. Thinking of you and C with lots of love!
FAIL. That was supposed to say 'hearing your child...'
M is 22.4 pounds, 31.5 inches, and has a tiny noggin at 17 15/16 (??) inches.
Her pediatrician said she feels M is getting a balanced diet, even though it's the same stuff all the time. She's growing along her curve and is developmentally on target, so... KOKO! She said to keep up with her daily vitamins and fluoride and keep offering her various foods. She's confident she'll outgrow this pickiness.
Dealing with serious anxiety tonight. I can't pinpoint what's causing it. M was up my ass and literally wouldn't stop touching me and crawling over me. I made her go to bed (it was time, anyway) because I'm all touched out. I will throw a cat if one decides to snuggle right now. I NEED SPACE TO BREATHE.
Hey guys! Sorry i was absent. I had a 4 day migraine i could not shake. After 2 nights of no sleep i went to urgent care. My dad said they wouldnt do anything for me but im glad i went anyways, they gave me a shot for the pain and a muscle relaxer. Im all better now. Seriously, fuck migraines! Going back to catch up now, i hope i didnt miss too much!
