So i finally got a few moments to share the good news. J came home on Tuesday! Finally. Last Thursday we where once again told that he wouldn't be come home for like the third time, but possibly Monday. Well monday came around and no go, again. His breathing was still to fast and they wanted to monitor him overnight. Tuesday we finally got the call. DH came home from work early and we went to the hospital around 4 to go over his medications and milk additives and last minute discharge paperwork. By 6 we we're packed up and leaving the place behind. It still doesn't seem real. The last 4 months of our life has been spent in that hospital. Since being home I haven't stopped going. In trying to into a rhythm and routine and we're getting there slowly. J's fist night home was bad and there was no sleep to be had. Poor guy was in sensory overload and was super cranky. He's been doing much better now though. We're still having some touble sleeping in his bassinet but we're getting there.
The birth story: I'll make this one as short as I can. That morning I had FINALLY been let off the monitor. I was to afarid to move though unfortunately when I ordered breakfast the lady put it on the table across the room when I got up to go eat I felt a rush I figured it was more fluid, looked down and it was blood called the nurse and was rushed into bed and put back on the monitor. Every time J would move he press on my bladder and irrate whatever was bleeding the doctors decided to just leave membe and see what happened but at midnight the bleeding was still going and J was starting to show signs of distress so I was rushed to the OR. J came at 12:52 am we heard him make a couple squeaks and got to see him for a few seconds before he was rushed to the nicu. I wasn't able to see him until about 6 hours later.
