We've been busy but it seems like it's been quiet over here this week. How was everyone's week? What's up for the weekend? What beverage are you starting your day with today? What's one recipe you plan to make next week? Does anyone else meal plan?

M and I are back in CA. My mom flew back with us yesterday and she leaves tomorrow morning. We'll miss having her around. She's so helpful and loves playing with and taking care of M. M was wonderful on the plane despite being sick (runny nose and cough)! I was a little worried about her ears but they didn't end up being a problem. It's a 6 hour nonstop flight and she only cried once and it was short- 2 tears. Seriously impressed by her (everyday). Side note- she's getting so close to crawling.
CET and I were supposed to have a date night tonight but M hasn't been taking a bottle. So, now we'll either all go to an early dinner or CET and I will go to a late dinner after M's bedtime. Any tips for getting her to take one again? She just plays with the nipple by moving it around her mouth with her tongue. My parents are meeting us in Chicago in a few weeks and we were supposed to have a date night while they watched M but this no bottle thing is foiling our plans.
This weekend we have a first birthday party on Saturday and a Halloween party on Sunday. Both are contingent on how M is feeling. Someone is trying out one of our horses on Sunday to see if they want to lease him one day a week. We have some errands to do and I want to decorate for fall. It's my favorite but I haven't done any decorating yet. It was hot yesterday, 90! Feels more like summer than fall.
I'll probably have a decaf iced coffee with half n half this morning after I run to Whole Foods to buy some milk and maybe go for a run. M didn't have to best nights sleep so I think we're all dragging this morning.
And yes! I like to meal plan. I find it so helpful and makes my grocery shopping more organized. I usually pick 3 or so meals to make during the week for dinner and a couple simple dishes for lunch. I'm not sure what I'm making this week yet. I'm thinking M would like butternut squash soup so maybe that. Once I've given it some thought, I'll try and post again.

I feel like I've been AWOL forever!
The week has been pretty good; I decided that life is too short to wash dishes and finally joined this millennium and bought a dishwasher!!! Yay!
No real weekend plans; just getting stuff done around the house.
I started the day off with water. Not very exciting.
I somewhat meal plan: I plan the meals but then decide what we're going to have each night the evening before. I am definitely having chicken stew next week.
It will be another exciting weekend of cleaning for us. After last weekend's wonderful camping/concert trip we're still catching up. Dad and I will bike tomorrow to get back into the swing of real life.
We will 100% be meal planning next week. Likely easy stuff: chicken and veggies, tacos, etc. I desperately need to get to the store.

Hi Everyone! I know this board has been super quiet lately!
I had a second u/s today and everything looked amazing. Measured 9+1 but technically that would mean I got pg the day before my iui lol. Hb was 168 and we got a video too! We saw him/her moving around too which was so freaking cool!
Not too much planned for the weekend, some hw, maybe yoga, who knows. We definitely meal plan but it's been tricky because most food sounds unappealing! If we don't though we eat way too much take out!

Beverage start with water, then coffee. Last night a friend and I went to a giant annual booksale for the library... I love it, it's huge and all the books are super cheap. Today we're going to my SIL and BIL's cottage like property. H's cousins are also coming so we'll likely hike and play board games. I have to figure out what to pack for Is - all the layers.

It's been a busy weekend. L got back from her week long trip Friday night and left this morning (Sunday.) L and the kids did manage to finish their school project that is due this Friday, C had 2 soccer games, we managed to go to Queen of Katwe together as a family, I got the grocery shopping done, and managed to make 2 trips to the store sans kids (left them home alone for 30m - it's awesome!!). Thankfully, G swim practice was cancelled for tonight because I was DONE! This week is going to be just as nutty with Leanne being out of town until Friday night with 2 soccer practices and 2 swim practices.
I hate meal planning. Somehow I became in charge of all grocery shopping and meal planning. I hate it! We go out to dinner way too often. We are trying to limit the number of times we go out to eat, but it is really difficult with sports practice and not getting home until late - especially when L isn't home.
This week is tacos with corn, steak and chicken bites with rice and broccoli, pasta with turkey dogs and peas, and fast food 1 night (The night the kids have sports practice on apps that ends of town!)
We try to write down each nights menu on the fridge on Sunday morning and then shop according to what we need. It is too hard to get to the store during the week.
