Good morning!
It's been raining for 2 days here and looks like it will today as well. No real plans for us except going to look at rugs for the playroom.
Yesterday H and I were out and about all day from about noon to 8. I had snacks for her and really just forgot about our afternoon nursing session. I realized about 730pm when suddenly I was really uncomfortable. So i had gone since 10am! Ouch!

Went to a local baby expo today. So fun and informative. Sat in on the babywearing and breastfeeding talks. Now I'm convinced I need a woven wrap. Must find one to try.
DH came home early and surprised us last night. DD2 is a little perplexed because I'm sure her memory at this point only remembers him from skype, but it's cute to watch her try to figure it out.
My house is such a mess from both of a coming back on the same night. And I just want to nap.
It was raining and cold, but the kids and I went on a hike to a waterfall. It was fun, until the 3 year olds had enough and there were tears all around, lol.
Then we went to a first birthday party. I'm exhausted.

Oktoberfest was fun and there were more babies than just DD, so phew! Haha I think DH and I are more exhausted than DD though. Apparently no second nap today..... 😢

A co-worker friend's dad is getting ready to retire and go full-time Santa. Seriously, he has the beard and everything! It's pretty great. So she set up a tree and presents and he dressed up and several of us with babies went for a practice photo shoot. We got some early pictures and he got practice with babies Win-win!
E actually climbed into the lap of a co-worker whose kid is about 18mo. Then she hung out with that dad. It was too funny. It was like she had known them her whole life!
I got my phone fixed, since I dropped it on the sidewalk at school yesterday and shattered the screen. Grr...there's a little pixelated spot at the top of the screen but I just can't see the point in putting that much money into a 7 when the 7S will come out not too long from now. I'm just cheap. It happened in front of about 75 or so students (NHS group pic) and they got dead quiet. They all know that struggle.
The weather was amazing and perfect today. We don't get many good fall days. I'm ready for it to get cool and stay that way, though!

I'm so exhausted. We got home around 1am last night (I drove) and of course the kiddies were up bright and early today. My DD is being a total hellion and won't listen to anything I say. So tired, no energy to deal w these shenanigans.

OK guys. Looking for opinions and I'm just going to bury it here.
I'm in a major dead end in my current job. I'm thinking right now I might try to go back to school. Ultimately I'd like to work as a lactation consultant, but I definitely can't get my employer to pay for that. Plus, the hope is that in a couple years I can stay home for a little while anyway and I don't want to complete the program and then stay home. So, right now isn't the time for that. But I'm wondering if i can get my employer to pay for an MBA. A local university offers an online MBA with a health care concentration. I wonder if that might bridge the gap I'm looking for but still be applicable to my job enough so that i can get them to pay for it. Thoughts?

I don't really have any advice, work stuff is so personal, depending on financial obligations and needs, etc. You just seem to be searching and needing something more. Nothing "bad" can happen from getting another degree...especially if your employer pays for it. A degree/education is an accomplishment that no one can take away. So I say go for it, even if it doesn't eND up being applicable to anything in the future
