$1160, I'll take it! But then I probably have to have another baby to justify the cost.
Last night little guy was rolling to his belly, as he's been doing, but all night he was getting mad about it. Up at least every hour to calm him down, but there was no good position for him to sleep in since he still startles. My last hour of "sleep" was holding him in the recliner and getting smacked in the face every so often. Then he nursed and promptly spit up all over me. Dang babies.
DH wants to take in nap duties all this week and only use me as a last resort (I've been nursing to sleep until now)
He's had decent success today. I nursed, he burped, put F in the suit, and rocked him to sleep. He only slept a half hour but I'm surprised he went down at all so I'll take it.
Currently pumping to get my boobs "on schedule" for when I go back to work while watching guardians of the Galaxy. I'm procrastinating against making lesson plans for next week. Lol I need to make plans to get through the 8 weeks until Christmas holidays, then I can regroup lol
Our older two asked if they could go play with neighbour's. I walk by the front window and they are raking the front yard for fun... Lol keep on playing kids.. There's lots of leaves out there lol
You know you're canadian when you're raking leaves in a toque with a hockey stick lol

Ray awesome! I can't wait for E to be big enough to go in the jogging stroller. I will run then when his big brother is in preschool. Need to keep saying that!

We bought the adapter thingy so I can clip our infant car seat in. I'm super excited to get out now!! Which jogger do you have?

I should have gotten the adaptor with my older son, but I feel at this point, it's not worth it. I have the Iron Man jogging stroller. Kind of wish I had gotten a different one as the front wheel is always locked which can get annoying, but it's still good. Running with a stroller is hard - makes running seem so easy when you go alone after using the stroller a lot. But I felt so buff!

This is going to sound stupid but how do you turn with the wheel locked? Lol mine has the option to lock and says the only time it *shouldnt* be locked is walking. I don't really understand why it's not safe to run with a rotating front wheel.
Anyone watching walking dead? acorn99 ? We need an emotional support thread.
Good God. We watched. It was awful. I had read spoilers so I knew who was getting killed, but that was brutal to watch.
Yeah it was pretty terrible. After the first few minutes when Negan takes rick H goes "I'm so glad we don't have to actually see them killing whoever." Then what happened, happened. It was rough.

You have to push down on the handle bars so the front wheel is up to turn. Annoying. But I also read that the front wheel should be locked when running H so I figured having it always lock wouldn't be an issue bc I only use it for running. A swivel wheel doesn't seem unsafe, but I read this:
If you run with a jogging stroller, you would need a fixed wheel. All you need is safety and stability. A stroller with a swivel wheel rattles and does not go smoothly.
Let me tell you why: a front wheel should be fixed. No lock can guarantee that it will remain fixed at high speeds. The last thing that I would like to think about while rollerblading and pushing the stroller in front of me is the front wheel lock. That is the same as to use a sport car for driving in the city center in the rush hour! Plastic joints and locks will not give you 100% guarantee of safety and stability. These factors are crucial. Bear in mind, the simpler the construction of the stroller, the more reliable and safer it is.
Even if you are not going to rollerblade or run with your stroller, you might face some kind of difficulties while walking as a swivel wheel might pull to the sides. It might happen especially at speedy walking pace. Besides, sandy beaches and snowy roads are difficult for a swivel wheel to conquer. You will have to lock it anyway.
I know some parents who run with a fixed swivel wheel. They say it is fine. But there is always much hassle of adjusting a stroller front wheel before it can go straight. If you are a serious runner, you should consider a running stroller with a fixed front wheel.
