Nothing much here. It's supposed to be a very quiet day per the appointment sheet I received. I imagine I'll be spending way more time than I should on here today...

I'm in the hospital definitely have preeclampsia. Waiting on labs to come back to determine if we need to deliver soon or if I will just stay and be monitored. I really hope all the labs come back ok and we don't need to deliver tonight.

Oh no. Hope they can buy you some time if it isn't too severe.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope the labs come back good enough to let Duck stay put for a bit longer! Thinking of you.

Today has been a whirlwind of a day.
A short summary: Baby Penguin was born at 12:37 pm via c-section weighing 8 lbs and 10 oz. She had a lot of fluid in her airway and they kept trying to get it out buy couldn't. I saw her care team go from one, to two, then to three people and knew it wasn't good. She was taken to the NICU and been on the CPAP ever since because she is not breathing on her own strong enough yet. I saw her once on my way from the 3rd floor to the 4th floor and should be getting to see her again sometime after 10 pm. I am counting down the minutes and watching the clock like a hawk.
peaseblossom55 so sorry about the pre-E. I had "borderline" pre-E with my first, treated with bedrest at home, and developed pre-E/HELLP syndrome with my second and delivered early. I hope your labs stay on check and you're able to keep Duck on the inside a little longer.
penguin129 I'll say congrats here too. We didn't get to be CS twins but apparently were NICU mom twins. Hope little girl's stay is as short as DS2's was!
