Good luck to everyone back at work!
My parents are here visiting and took my older one out for the morning. So I only have 1 kid home with me. Forgot how easy just dealing with a baby is!
Funny random: After E woke up from his nap yesterday, DS1 runs into his room and asks all excitedly, "Eli, want to jump on the bed with me?" Uhh no I don't think either of you should be jumping on the bed. I'm in trouble!
I am usually home on Mondays, but I am at work today because I needed to take Friday off instead. And I am thankful to be here today rather than chasing my toddler because I am amazingly sore from riding yesterday. I dont even want to begin to worry about how much worse it will be tomorrow. roccobabyk knows my pain.
Oh! ANd I think I just snagged a great deal on a sit and stand stroller on my local FB yardsale page. I am supposed to be on a spending freeze right now though. I think I need to sell my Tula to feel better about this. DD has decided she hates being carried facing in, so I am not too heartbroken. But if anyone around here is in the market for a Tula, let me know. I was going to sell in on FB for $100, but I will gladly give a better price to a J16er.
It looks like this if interested, in great condition.

My in laws left today so I finally have the house to myself. Now to clean, clean, clean!
On another note my middle cat peed in our bed last Wednesday and dh washed everything so he thought...as I was getting all comfy in my comforter during a thunderstorm I smelled the smell! Damn you Parker and dh for not washing the comforter!

Yeah that second day was rough. I could barely pick up my toddler and she isn't very big. Thankfully I was almost 100% by the third day. Your pictures looked great and fun!
My almost threenager is driving me insane. I can't take my eyes off her for a minute and she never listens. Her attitude is horrendous as well. I don't know how I'm going to survive, I think she's winning the battle.
Both girls are napping and I should be packing since we're moving in a week but I just need a breather.

Had my friend and her kids over for a play date. 4 kids under 3! My house got destroyed! But we all had a good time and DS1 is exhausted and napping now. I'm feeding L and sitting in the quiet. L hasn't napped at all today and I'm hoping he'll fall asleep too.
I can't believe people getting pregnant now will have July '17 babies! Just saw that board is up 😲
I'm pretty sure M was a Halloween week baby. I was just thinking about it actually.
My Monday has been busy but good. Monday is DH's only day off, so we packed in groceries, errands, a quickie timed during preschool and nap, making a meatloaf, and vacuuming. I'm going to the gym at 4:45 no matter what else happens. I'm shocked at how I need to start planning and working hours in advance to orchestrate a 2 hour absence and I'm still constantly nursing him until the last second and running late. This scares me for November when I'll start 4 hour work shifts.
I'm parked on the couch with body aches and a nasty sore throat. Every time I get baby to sleep and doze off, she wakes up. I need about a 4 hour nap. Somehow I don't see that happening.

I really have to pretend that S never cries at daycare in order to get through my day. When I picked him Up today there were 2 babies crying and the caregivers were occupied with other babies. I have no idea how they do it.
S is currently falling asleep on the boob. I wish I could just sit here with him but I have to get up and help L with his spelling.

I was just thinking about that last week because my first PP period came almost exactly a year after my last period before getting pregnant (I remember because of my FF app). So crazy.

Not sure if you guys remember my potty training rants about DD a few weeks ago but after that we basically hung up the towel for a bit. Well early this morning she asked to go pee and used the potty. We have kept her diaper off all day and she hasn't had a single accident and goes to the potty by herself when she needs to go. So weird. We haven't done anything but it's awesome. We will see if it sticks.

It makes me miss being pregnant. He was a lot easier to take care of on the inside lol
Omg yes! With my first pregnancy, I was hoping to go a little early and was so excited to give birth. This time, I was in no rush whatsoever. For me being pregnant was a walk in the park compared to the first few months of having an outside baby. I love my kids but wouldn't mind if I could send them back to the womb temporarily so I can rest 😀
Does it actually get easier? It has to right? My 7 and 11year olds are a walk in the park lol I feel like when I met their dad at 1.5 and 3.5 they were still very chill.
I don't think I can last another 15 months like this though.

roccobabyk that's awesome! I'm on the fence about potty training DS1. He's shown an interest (asked to sit on the toilet twice today) and fights us at diaper changes. He's 2.5 and I was going to wait until he turns 3 next spring, but now I'm wondering. The thing is, he doesn't care if he's wet, and he sits on the toilet but never does anything.
I think 4 is supposed to be a rough age for girls katelou. I heard 5 is better. Apparently DD1 was bad at 18-24 months according to my FB memories. I don't remember at all probably due to years of sleep deprivation.
My in laws we're here this weekend and MIL left this morning. DH is out of town until tomorrow so I am getting the girls to bed, eating, and crashing early. So tired.

That's exactly where we are/were. She's never cared if she was wet but has just recently been asking us to change her when she poops. Last time we tried she was just sitting on the toilet and not doing anything. Idk what clicked today.
