I'm so sorry. The hemorrhoids I got after DS's birth were so terrible I've seriously thought about going to see a doctor preemptively this time. But I don't even know what kind of doctor you see for that.Â
You can barely find a doctor who will remove them, because it's painful and they usually come back. Witch hazel helps after a movement, and just not straining/pushing. Also fiber. That's mostly what they've told me to help the issue.
I've had issues this pregnancy early on also, and I didn't get any until I gave birth last time. Stool softener helps a lot, as well as a sitz bath. I also use Tucks Pads (basically witch hazel on a wipe), and your basic hemi cream. If it gets bad, I use a wet wash cloth to wipe instead of toilet paper - way gentler.
Well, I will be tmi and share a symptom that no one likes to talk about. I was blessed with a hemorrhoid by 10 weeks last pregnancy that never fully went away. It's already flared up again this pregnancy.
I've had issues since early 20s. That was one reason I was so damn scared to delivery vaginally. Sadly, even after NO pushing and a csection, that sucker flaired up the first month after worse than I ever thought possible. I literally couldn't roll over without tears. I considered going to the ER. You don't realize how often that area 'clenches' until those get bad. I'm pretty scared for that again. I might double up the stool softeners around that time. The creams etc wouldn't work for me. But wet wipes or dampened toilet paper absolutely helped give it time to go 'back down' on its own. Wiping def aggravated it.

Yikes that sucks! I agree mine were bad after my cs so I couldn't imagine if I had pushed. Are you trying for a vbac?

I was putting food in the compost bin and I started gagging- threw up in the bathroom sink because I couldn't make it the last couple steps to the toilet

Add me to the almost fainting/blacking out list. Yesterday, I was getting out of the shower and got lightheaded. I stumbled out of the shower and managed to sit on the toilet while holding a towel bar while I waited for H to come help me. We both think it was a combination of being overheated from the shower and exhausted because I had little sleep thanks to a toothache I developed Saturday.

Nope, I've told my dr for years now that I have absolutely no interest lol. Schedule the repeat now! I know people that have successful vbacs but I'm just a big chicken.

I never thought he would say I'm a good candidate considering my blood thinner. I'm scared of the idea, especially after reading the disclaimers about increased risk to the baby with uterus rupture. Terrifying!!

It is terrifying but trust your doctor. If he says you're ok and it's something you really want to do, it'll be ok!
My induction was rough tho. Almost 48 hrs with my cervix not changing a bit. I was sealed up like a steel door. I can't do that again.

That's the thing, I don't know if I want to. I had a scs so I never experienced labor. At first I was heartbroken about it, and my recovery from surgery was ROUGH, but at least I know what to expect. Thank goodness I have months to decide

I really only had a handful of contractions, that was enough for me. It'll be a tough decision. But you're right, you got some time. Lots of research!

I'm with you. My doctor was going on and on about how safe vbacs are if you're a candidate for them. I understand that but I would much rather schedule a repeat if that option is available to me.

I feel better about really initially leaning toward hell no, cut me open again! I felt like I was in a minority of not really wanting a vbac. Thanks ladies!

I was worried my doc would be really pushy about a vbac. So glad she hasn't been at all!

Re: blacking out. It's a fairly regular occurrence for me (I have low blood pressure). I know how scary it is! I think it also has to do a lot with dehydration.
I am already so over winter with a toddler. At least temperatures in the teens. I can handle above freezing.
I spoke too soon. I was JUST telling a friend that it's been over a week since I've taken my meds/thrown up. And I just threw up my whole dinner. With no warning. Boo. I hope it was just a fluke thing and not my MS coming back. I've so enjoyed life without it.
Anyone else have heart burn already? I suffered with this a lot in the end with DS But lately feeling it the past few days!! Not ready for that!!
Not heart burn but yes to acid reflux. I swear there is no happy place on my digestive tract
This might be a stupid question, but what does acid reflux feel like? I can't tell if that's what's going on with me sometimes or not - not that it probably matters too much since there isn't anything to do about it!

Kinda like a burn coming up your esophagus. It is hard to describe but heart burn is used to describe when you have reflux and you feel it near the opening of your stomach in the esophagus. I haven't felt it there but more in my larynx area. If you feel any of this type of burn tums are pretty helpful and a great source of calcium. I got it in 3rd tri last time but apparently now I am old and it is starting right away haha
I'm feeling baby move and I always forget how awesome it is in the beginning!
Also, I have barely eaten in almost 2 days because I am having horrible lower GI issues. Everything I eat causes horrendous stomach cramps followed pretty quickly after by diarrrhea.

The worst. I've had the opposite problem and I hate it so much! Yay for baby movements though!!!

Good to know. It does sometimes feel like the stomach acid is trying to push its way up! Blech. :/

I feel like I may have too, but I'm still in that period of time where I'm not quite sure. I'm 12w2d but my doctor thinks I'm 13w2d based off LMP. I'm going by the dating ultrasound. I wasn't sure if it was even possible this early.
I've felt something happening in there too! I'm 13+1. I've heard other woman say they felt something this early. Especially STMs. It's really the best feeling ever.
Is anyone sleeping with a nursing bra or something on? I normally don't but my boobs hurt so much at night without a bra on, I think I'm going to need to start.

I remember sleeping with a sports bra last time. I dunno if it's because I'm still nursing but my boobs haven't really hurt this time around
