Have we talked Halloween yet? I don't remember. In any case, it's the freakin weekend (see what I did there? then doesn't the song go something like- baby I'm gonna have me some fun?? ). Anyways, back on subject. How are you spending the most spooky weekend of the year? Dressing up? Any parties? Trick or treating? What your favorite candy?

So far we're nailing naps today so I feel pretty good about that, we'll see if it sticks. No big Halloween plans here. We'll hand out candy and take a costume pic for my mom (she got Is a unicorn costume... a little pink for my liking.) My massage last night was awesome. It's chilly here so I've been practising layering baby clothes... if anyone has any winter product recs pass them along. I ordered a bunting and we have a car seat cover... haven't used either yet but am bundling with sweater, mitts, hat, and blanket. I think we need some fleece zip up sweaters.
Oh, Halloween related - I'm going out to buy candy when Is wakes up... it's the first year H hasn't bought candy a month early (too dangerous.)

So unfortunately I am not doing anything Halloween related this year which is sad. I have class Monday night so I can't even give out candy and our street usually gets a good amount if trick or treaters.
Doing a bunch of hw tomorrow with a friend's twin 1 year old birthday party mixed in. Then a school training all day Sunday. Really nothing much to look forward to this weekend.

It's been a busy week, lots going on with work and trying to redo the guest bath before we host thanksgiving. And then we realized we need to plan out thanksgiving and order the turkey and ham and such.
This weekend I'll paint the bathroom and help my sister put in new closets in her house. I am excited about handing out candy Monday! I'm not a huge Halloween person, but I'll wear one of my vintage dresses and be "50's housewife" for handing out candy.

Nothing happening for Halloween here. Just handing out candy while our dog goes mental every time a kid comes to the door. I'm not really a fan of Halloween. Haven't been to a Halloween party in a good 6-7 years. But it's fun seeing the kids all dressed up.
This weekend was a write off and I think I might stay home tomorrow. I was sick all weekend and am not feeling great today either. I don't want to go home early since I only have a few hours left, but I've been feeling vomity all day. Ugh.

Life has been busy but in a good way. Sorry for posting and disappearing.
Friday we went to a Halloween party after the exercise class we go to. Saturday M was fussy and literally spent all day on me (besides the 10 minutes I was in the shower). CET was in Chicago. Sunday we went to a fall festival as a Rancho/botanical garden in the area. It was fun- very kid friendly. Then tonight we handed out candy and a friend, her baby, and husband came over for dinner and to hang out. M loved having them here. She was so happy and energetic. We never get as many trick or treated as I think we should but it was still a fun night!

This weekend was crazy busy. TOTing at the Town Center with friends and dinner after. Soccer game, swim practice, 1001 errands, a birthday party, a 3 mile hike with 7 9-10 year old boys, laundry, and a sick wife.
