H left super late for DS1s swim class. He has such a nasty attitude because DS1 was....acting like a two year old. Because he's two. I told H multiple times yesterday to pack his swim bag before he came to bed. Guess what H thought could wait until morning?
I have a nail appointment this morning then a hair appointment in the afternoon. I can't freaking wait!

I would like to clean the house and go for a hike this weekend but we will see if those happen. ToTing won't be until Halloween for us because we live in an unincorporated town where there is no one to set an early ToTing day.
S is congested but I am not sure if it's a cold or just all of his drool pooling in the back of his throat.
Halloween hayride tonight! Other than that not sure. I need to get my nails done. HK is still really congested and really wish it would go away. The one thing I hate about DC

DD1 has swim class and I'm sure I'll end up taking both kids alone. Blargh.
We had been lax about giving Baby R bottles and shr hadn't had one since 6 weeks. I knew that would come back to bite me- my mom watched her for 2 hours and she refused the bottle. Great
But, after hating it 2 weeks ago, I tried R in the Exersaucer again and she was so content! It's a miracle! I've basically been holding her 90% of the day so this is huge. Things like pulling wet laundry out of a top loading washing machine are really difficult to do while holding a baby.
We're going to a fall festival today that's put on by the kids' Montessori school, so that should be fun. Then it's home for naps before DH and I have our date night this evening. 😁
Eggs Benedict is on the menu this morning. They grossed me out when I was pregnant, so it's been awhile! FIL is coming over to help fix some stuff around the house and DS1 is so excited, the two of them are thick as thieves!
Oh, and someone in DD1s class has a confirmed case of pinworms. If my house gets worms I might have to burn it down.
What the hell are pinworms. DNW to google.
Tiny intestinal worms that crawl out of your anus at night and lay eggs there. The first symptom is anal itching. I can't make this up.
The eggs can apparently live for weeks without a host. I washed everything that came home from school but her Halloween costume isn't washable. She's mad that I banned it to the garage but no way am I letting up.

katelou that's so gross I've never even heard of that before. Hopefully nothing came home with her! Gives me the shivers. Also yay for the exersaucer keeping R entertained! It's not easy getting stuff done with a baby attached to you. I've got a teething clingy mess over here so that's been fun trying to get our house packed up.
We're ToTing tonight, the kids are so excited and I can't wait to eat their candy. Plus in our neighborhood some houses hand out shots/beers to the adults, woot. I also need to go shopping today for all the stuff we'll need for moving. It's going to be a hectic week.

Oh, heck no to pin worms. My dd constantly picks her butt, so I'd never know if she had them anyway. Kids are so gross.
We had a busy week and I'm planning nothing for the weekend. We already had two Halloween parties and Monday will be event filled.
Our big thing is sleep train the four-year-old this week. I got in the habit of letting her fall asleep with me during pregnancy and now we're breaking it and I'm reading her chapter books in her bed. It's working but I'm tired!
Oh, and we have an exersaucer. I'll have to give it a try!

We have a birthday party today, Thomas and Percy tomorrow, and preschool party/Trick or treating Monday. All in the rain. Pretty disappointed. Both kids have colds. DS1 is being completely hellacious at bedtime. Neither kid is sleeping at night. Not the most positive weekend post.

Oh my god.
No thank you to anal worms. Spray that costume with Lysol over night.
@melody I am confused - do people ToT not on Halloween there?
We are on our way to the city for our oldest's hockey game. We won't be back until 8:30 or 9.
No we ToT the day before Halloween because there's a huge parade on the 31st every year. I had no idea this wasn't normal until I went away to college.

Oh my god. I can't believe this is a thing.
I had never heard of it but everything I read online said it is super common is daycares and preschools. And public sandboxes. I used to let DD1 play in the one by our old house but OMG never again.

We were up at 5:00. A nursed, then we went to early AM breakfast at the diner. Giant pancakes anc greasy hash browns, YUM. Then we went to Target and bought more than we needed. I made chili for the crockpot and now H & my sister are carving pumpkins while I chill with A and watch Hocus Pocus.
So neither of my kids has slept today. It's almost 3:00 and everyone has been at an eleven since they woke up. I tried to get B down for a nap before I left....but it was a fail. I basically left H with two ticking time bombs. Sorry dude. Welcome to my life. I left him three ounces of pumped milk and said I'll be home around 5.
Ugh that's disgusting katelou, hope nothing came home to you guys!
I was supposed to run a 5K this morning except DH wouldn't wake up in time to watch the girls while I ran. So I didn't get to run but there was a "Spooky Sprint" (200m kids race) afterwards that DD1 ran in. She is so proud of her medal and herself! I love it! And DH hasn't stopped apologizing all day so at least he realizes he was an asshole.

Nope nope nope to the pinworms. katelou so hope they stay far far away.
melody330 we are on day 2 of nap strikes here. I think DS is going through something; growth spurt, leap? What is it at 12 weeks?
I took DD ToTing tonight at a shopping center and it was actually a lot of fun. She was a monkey but would not leave her hat on. In her defense it was weirdly hot here today. I was bummed however that she got about 3846639 suckers. I want chocolate.
