We're thinking seriously about giving donor eggs another shot and thinking about frozen because it's cheaper and easier. We don't want to do a guarantee program or anything, it's going to be one lot of eggs and if it happens it happens, if it doesn't, we are done.
Have been looking at Don.or E.gg Ba.nk USA as they work with our semi local clinic. They do a package deal with one lot of eggs and one FET cycle including ICSI (but not PGS/D) for $17k. There are 5-10 eggs in a lot, seems to vary by donor. We like that they show adult pictures, that's a must have for us and rules out quite a few agencies.
Wondering what experiences others have had with frozen eggs if any? What to look out for, etc?

bootsorhearts I haven't cycled with DEggs yet, but I have been looking at the same egg bank. I love the ease that seems to be there and the people have been so so friendly and helpful. I have a question, The plan you are looking at, does it include an FET even if the fresh cycle is successful? Or is it paying for up to what works? Just curious since I didn't see that option. Is that deal through your clinic or through DEB? Please keep us updated on your journey, since we will be going through it next year I'd love to find out exactly how it works out for you. There is a private FB page for DE and DS parents. I found it helpful and I plan to meet up with some of the local ladies and go to a support group in a week. Let me know if you want to be added to the FB group. You may find other women and couples near you who have or will be doing the same thing.

No Display, so sorry for tagging you first of all. Someone let me know you were on a break and I untagged you but not fast enough! Thank you though for responding. The $17k they quoted me was for the egg lot + one transfer at a partner clinic (I shouldn't have said FET). I think the deal is only with one of their partner clinics, and not sure if the fee is the same for all clinics. For us, that may be enough. We'd only transfer one embryo and if it didn't take and we had others we would almost certainly pay to have the others transferred also.
I will definitely keep you in the loop! We are calling our clinic tomorrow, probably have to do a saline sono (fun!) and they may want updated bloodwork and an SA from DH since it's been about a year since we were there and did all that. I want to get everything ready so we can start watching the site and grab someone we like before they're gone! It does seem like they add new donors a few times a week which is great, but definitely if there's not anyone on there you like you have to watch every day because someone could be on there and then snatched up quickly.
Yes please add me! I'll PM you my email address I use for facebook.
I hope you are enjoying your break. We stepped away from it all for a while too and it was really nice.

bootsorhearts no problem about the tag. I'm always happy to help if I can. Yes PM me your email and I'll have to add you first as a friend and then add you to the group, longhorn did it for me and she has been a wealth of knowledge during this time. Good luck with all the "pre" cycle stuff. Yes donors get snatched up so quickly but I have found way more that I like with them then the fresh donor options at my clinic.
