DQ is 20 minutes away so too late tonight... BUT I have carrot cake & the actual birthday cake flavored Oreos :-). I think I'll surivive! But enjoy.. I'm jelly!
Our DQ here is disgusting. The people who work there look like they've never bathed and the counters are covered in spilled toppings and melted ice cream. Luckily I have strawberry ice cream, so I might make myself a milkshake.

I tried to get soft serve earlier this week in the middle of butt cold winter and I was told the soft serve machine was broken. I cried about 3 tears on the car ride home.

No DQ nearby. No Coldstone. No Baskin Robbins. There's an independent ice cream stand in town that's only open during the summer and only serves vanilla, chocolate, and raspberry. I'm going to have to weigh my options against the 20 degree weather this long weekend...

Where the hell do you live? It sounds like hell. Does Satan live there? I think you're in hell.

Seeing this thread just reminds me how much I still want a blizzard. My BF wasn't having it the other day. Popsicles only cut it for so long when it's not what you're craving!

I had Ritter's Frozen Custard yesterday. IMO it's better than DQ. And we also make our own version of blizzards at the restaurant I work at on the weekends...maybe I'll do that Thursday.
We picked Breyers mint Oreo ice cream at the grocery store today, but it's for DS 's birthday on Tuesday (he wanted "green ice cream"). On the one hand, what sort of terrible no-good mother eats her son's birthday ice cream? On the other hand ... we can totally replace it, right?
