My sis is throwing me a brunch to celebrate baby#2 this Sunday. I checked out the restaurant. It's fanceh. And delish. Trying to decide my plan of attack.

I brought home pickles a few weeks ago and DH laughed and said I was a pregnancy stereotype Except it's kinda true, the only times i have bought pickles since we've been together is when I'm pregnant. This time around I wanted something else to eat with lunch that is low carb and pickles fit the bill.

I was offered two amazing trips today and I can't go on either because of the baby. One is in the Caribbean and the other is 10 hours away. I don't think I can handle 10 hours on a plane 5 months pregnant.

I know the feeling. I had to pass up a trip to Berlin for this baby. And I know it's worth it, but it still made me pretty sad. I love to visit new places, and I know it will be harder with a baby.

She's worth it. Hawaii can wait.
Think of them as trips without baby if you can get someone to watch them. My favorite trips have been those week long vacations without DS because it's a sanity saver and a way to reconnect with DH without the daily hectic stuff

onesweetworld I love pickles too, I grew up eating them, but as an adult I just don't regularly keep them in the house. It seems like a frivolous expense I guess, since no one else in the house will eat them.
And on trips, my sister and her husband were living in London when I got pregnant with DS. We had originally planned to visit in April (I've never been to Europe) but I was 24 weeks pregnant and we needed to save money for the baby Still haven't been over there but I figure that could be a fun trip as a family when the kids are a little older. OR we can drop them off with my parents on the east coast and then go by ourselves
