DH and I are having our first Date night tomorrow (V day) and asked FIL to watch the kiddos. He said yes and was super excited. Then he sent a text to DH telling him not to let me drink because the alcohol stays in the breast milk. Um...I'm a grown up. I do what I want. I'm going to have all the wine I want tomorrow.
whaaaaat? if my FIL mentioned my breasts in any context at ALL I would be creeped out. have an extra glass just for spite.
This!! That would piss me off. Mind your own damn business fil and you don't know what you are talking about. Wine is ok with breastfeeding. Just don't get wasted
FFFC - I resent DH for how little time he spends with LO most days. Today he changed one diaper and held her for less then 20 minutes. He complained for most of that 20 minutes that the way she likes to be held requires two hands and he likes to have one hand free (to play with his cell phone) b
You should tell DH that next time he looks up from his phone she will be a teenager. Put the phone down and enjoy your child DH!! Time flys. My first is 5 1/2 years old and it seems like yesterday he was newborn. You can't spend quality time with your baby while playing games. My DH does this too sometimes. Sigh......

Add my DH to this list. He's holding him one handed and not paying attention to LO then wonders why he gets a fussy baby and he immediately calms when I take him back. Um, maybe because my posture is about comfy baby while yours is about comfy you...

My LO also has non foul smelling poop. DS had popcorn poop but LO hasn't yet, weird.
My FFFC (even though it's Saturday) I'm sitting with LO, hosting her with one arm and on here with the other hand. I did, however, already have tummy time with LO and some quality one on one time with her (without cell phone distraction), so I don't feel bad about it. She's content sitting with me and sucking on her fingers.
The popcorn poop thing is so crazy to me because I realized about a month ago that LO always smells like buttered movie theater popcorn and DH and I determined it was her breath. I'm pretty sure it is her breath and not her poop because DH smells her poop and thinks it's awful, and he too thinks her breath (and burp clothes) smell like popcorn.
