Easy solution teraiin. Your H can watch him while you enjoy yourself.
We found and ordered our bridesmaids dresses yesterday. My MIL commented that my dress(we all chose different styles) is the motherly one. Thanks MIL, thanks.

Lol I will suggest that to him for next week (he's on worship team this week).
He did have a "compromise" as he called it. He said I could always volunteer in the nursery and then we wouldn't need to worry. LOLOLOLOLOLK because I really want to "relax" at church by watching my baby and 482647 other babies. LOLOLOLOLOL
I laughed for like five minutes and he got all huffy. I told him he was lucky I was laughing and not ripping his head off. LOL

I bet your dress is beautiful. Do you have a picture?
My dress finally came in and I got it yesterday. It's probably My favorite of all the bridesmaid dresses I've worn. I also might feel like this because I think this may be the last time I'm a bridesmaid since I'm out of unmarried friends and inlaws haha
Here's a pic in the colour the bride chose. It's actually a really pretty colour in person, it looks a little odd in the pic because it was changed digitally.
If your in the market for a convertible car seat check out the britax sale on Amazon today. We have the roundabout and we really like it. $115 is a great price for it.

We still haven't done laundry. It's been sitting in the living room ready to go since Wednesday. They started locking our laundry room at night, though, because we had people sleeping in there. Which they were fine with until there was an incident of a bag of shit being left behind. One person ruining it for everyone. One less warm place to sleep in the winter.
Tangent. But whatever. It makes me sad that they lost a safe place to sleep.

I just want to say kudos to you moms of multiples. We have an emergency foster placement for the weekend. So my house consists of a 5 month old, ten month old and two 4 year olds. It's been crazy! But not as bad as I thought

That is sad.
The library used to leave the area between the outer and inner door unlocked for that reason. But we had some vandalism and people trying to break into the library itself (and one succeeded) so now both are locked and alarmed
Hi ladies!! I hope everyone has been having a good weekend!
It's been a beautiful weekend here in the Mitten state! Mid 60s, bright and sunny, lots of fall colors and "snowing" leaves. Considering that it's November, this could very well be our last nice weekend like this. So we tried to enjoy it!! We took DS to the zoo today and the animals were all pretty active so that's fun!

My mother is most likely heading out Tuesday night and will be gone for at least a week. She is going with her youngest brother to spend time with their other brother that is most likely going to pass away from stage four cancer in the next month or two, if not the next week or two. To be fair we didn't expect this particular member of our family to live past 80 so it isn't shocking .
This overall means unless my husband can take a few days off my father will be taking time off to help me with the babies which will be an adventure. I forsee myself being very tired by the end of her trip.

You know those arm chairs for kids that pottery barn and other stores sell? What age kids do you think they work for?
A friend of mine is having a party for her daughter (2 yrs) and another friend suggested we chip in on one. But I dunno if that's too young or old or what.

I think DD got her chair at that age. She loves to read books and has since she was tiny. But she probably uses it more now at 4 than she did at 2.

Funny sorry on that- a coworker of MH found one with A's name embroidered on it at a garage sale for like $5 when I was pregnant with A. She was going to make a new cover for it with her DD's name on it. When we announced the name she was like OMG you have to have this! A loves his chair and always has. I would say there's never a bad time to get one. I would say depending on the size of the kid, they could use it up through 5 years old- ish. They're great!!
Nutshell: There is two houses between ours and a house that very literally exploded 3 1/2 hours ago. I can't even.
The long story: I was working on some daycare record keeping and there was a massive explosion. Our whole house shook and you could hear glass shattering. I ran to baby I who was napping in our room (closest point in our house to the explosion) and MH ran outside and called 911. At the time it was so scary bc I had no idea what was going on. I only heard all the neighbors yelling to get away from the house. The explosion was from natural gas and the windows shattered all the way out to the street 40-50 feet away, if not farther into the yards across the street. MH took video after hanging up with 911 - it took 6 minutes from the time of the explosion until the entire house was engulfed with flames. I couldn't watch I was so devastated. There was one man inside and I saw him walk by my house, clearly in serious shock. So glad he survived. His statement posted on the local fire department site said he was in bed and saw a fireball shoot over his bed. 😳 I am still shaken to my core. MH just went back to business as usual and did a home improvement project. Baby I basically slept through the whole thing. I'm not sure I will sleep tonight.

I won't lie, house explosion was a fear we lived with for a while when I was younger since our neighbors rented out their property and meth cookers got busted there. That sounds super terrifying snoris. I am glad you all are okay.

I'm up, 2 hours past when I originally climbed into bed because I'm making sub plans for tomorrow. Cam is throwing up and A has a fever. Looks like I'll be up early finalizing plans and calling subs. Hopefully I can find someone. On another note, an infant throwing up is the most sad, pitiful sight ever. Poor baby. 😞 snoris that is absolutely terrifying. I wouldn't be sleeping tonight either.
I have a list of things I need to do tomorrow. I was hoping for a more restful week. It I have a feeling life is just going to be stupidly busy and stressful until the wedding.
I need to call about getting DSs flu shot tomorrow, call the seamstress about getting my dress shortened ASAP, and Mail some video games I sold on ebay.
It doesn't sound like much but since having DS i swear everything takes about three times as long. I can't imagine multiples or STMs trying to get stuff done 😬
