I'm at my ILs house. Went to a baby shower for SIL today. Trying to keep our secret, but it's very unlike me to turn down a glass of wine. If they're suspicious they haven't said anything, but I think all the focus is on SIL right now so maybe I'm in the clear.
How'd it go?
Went ok. H's cousin was having a housewarming party and we went to that with SIL and BIL. So I had to turn down a drink there too. But I had to drive, and SIL is KU so she wasn't drinking either and we were only staying for a few minutes, so I don't think anyone really questioned it. Plus they know better than to ask even if they suspected. Last time we didn't tell until like 14-15 weeks, and we asked them not to visit in the hospital. So they know I'm not real open about my ute and they accept that about me. LOL

My plan for my upcoming trip to Miami is to accept all the drinks and discretely toss them down the sink. If I turn down drinks for 10 days they will all figure it out.
I would have a hard time faking it for that long. I'm also not really giving a shit aboit keeping it secret this time. I wanted to tell them just to get it over with. The only reason I didn't was that I wanted SIL to have the weekend all about her, since it's her first.
How did the DST change work out for everyone? My internal clock didn't get the memo, but the toddler and DH are still sleeping so I'm calling it a win.
We were also visiting ILs in a different time zone an hour behind ours. So DS woke up at 4am this morning. It wasn't that bad because we were planning to leave by 5 anyway. And now he's napping in the car.

not bad over here. DD was still up at her usual time, as was I. We've been pushing back her bedtime and nap time over the past couple weeks, so she's been ok so far.
I'm trying to take it easy today (as easy as I can with an 18m old!!) . I've been having some brown spotting since last night. Nothing major, it's only when I wipe. But it's still enough to make me nervous. I had the same spotting + cramping when I was pregnant with DD. So I'm not too too worried. But still trying to take it easy.
DD totally got the memo too... she's been back and forth between playing so nicely by herself and snuggling with me watching Mickey Mouse. Thank you Natalie!

Cocomama that is an awful dream, I'm sorry! It was my turn to sleep in this morning and I couldn't because I was too hungry. So I got up and ate all the things
I've been trying to adult and clean today, and I'm failing miserably.
I just want to eat and sleep.
this is me too. I did get some laundry done though so at least I will have clean underwear for the week.
needing clean underwear is the only reason I ever do laundry. I have enough clothes to get through an apocalypse, but when the undies are low, it's time. And of course I have an entire drawer full of underwear, but only wear about 7 different pairs
