M is still in bed as of 6:48 (7:48). But we were up twice for coughing and she also doesn't always tell me when she's up, so I should probably go check on her.
Not much on the agenda for today. Clean and grocery shopping. Good times.
I went in right after I posted and she stood right up. She snuggled for a few mins then was getting us out of bed. She gave hb his slippers and clothes. Then came took my blankets off. When I asked her what she clapped her hands and pointed to say get out of bed.
We drove through the tractor dealership to waste some time. N flipped out over the tractors. TRUCK! TRUCK! And squealing and laughing. Then got mad when we left and yelled MOOORE! MOOORE!
I did not know that the tractor dealership could provide such entertainment? Lol.
Today I took off work because I dropped a loaded tote on my foot and walking up and down the aisles and carrying packages is not going to happen. So I'm going to my parents and my husband and dad are going to tear out the bath tub and put a walk in tub in for when my mom comes home. I am hoping she gets better and comes home before thanksgiving but with the way the doctors and hospital keep giving her the run around I'm not sure when she will get to come home.
We're going to take her to a park in a bit. We haven't done a park yet (we have a yard, so she just runs around out back). So we're going to see how she likes it and the change of scenery.
I'm hoping A doesn't have rsv. It's going around DC. Well now she's snotty, coughing and running a fever. It came out of no where. She was fine this morning and we came home from church and her fever has been going up slowly since.
@megaugust10 she has cysts all over her pancreas and up her chest cavity. It's a complication from her previous surgeries on her leg. It's been a hard and long journey and now she has to be transferred to another hospital to do surgery to remove a tumor or stone by her bile duct. It's scary that a hospital doesn't have a dr willing to do a procedure.
kfg10427 wow that is a lot. I hope the other Hospital will be better for her. I would rather be at a hospital where they are willing to perform the surgery then someone just doing it and possibly making things worse. I remember when I had my gallbladder removed my mom asked which Dr it was because there were 2 with the same name and 1 was known to butcher people during surgery. I had the good one.
@megaugust10 she was supposed to have been transferred Thursday and it still hasn't happened. The doctors just keep upping her pain meds and she isn't allowed anything by mouth. So we are frustrated.
malvo I can never tell when e pees in the tub. She peed in the shower the other day and thought it was funny since she was standing
The last two baths, the second her feet touched the water, she peed. Usually I can't tell either, so I'm sure there have been pee-filled baths before. But when you actually see it? Does that warrant a water change? Kids are gross.
For those wondering, I did change the water. But it felt wasteful.

Most of the time e is in the shower with me. If I knew I would probably change the water.

So, DH and I just had a long talk about his surgery. It's coming up so fast. We keep talking about things we want to do before, things that will be fun for all of us. It's all had this really depressing tone so we talked about it. We're both pretty scared about it. There are a lot of things that could go wrong. I don't know. I know it needs to be done but it's so scary.
graciest719, talking about it is good. Surgery is scary but being able to talk will help. And plan something super fun to be a distraction. I'm sure his surgery will go well but it'll take some time to heal. I will keep your family in prayer.
