Update: I am 5.5 weeks. My RE did bloodwork and an ultrasound. I have a very large SCH right now so I am on bedrest. They are going to recheck me on Monday. They only saw 1 sac and she said it is normal at this point. She also said I am at a high risk for miscarriage. I guess I am just preparing for the worst.

Made an appointment with my regular doc for Monday so I can get a note to get off of Full Duty (My first midwife appointment isn't until the 29th). Was going to wait until next month, but things are getting hectic at work, and I don't want to get caught in the middle. Plus, I can get started and put my request in for family leave. I took this week off, and I feel a little bad about it because we are short at work and election day is always super busy, but the nausea and fatigue are starting to set in.
I found out my beta from Tuesday was 103, and hopefully today's results will come in tomorrow.
Does that seem a little low for almost 5 weeks?
I'm trying to reassure myself that things are fine, and that maybe I conceived a little later than I thought. There is a possibility I'm 4 weeks right now.
What are betas supposed to look like at this point? I can't remember.
Theres such a wide range of normal; you really won't know anything until you see the numbers from your second draw. I think anything from like 5-700 is considered normal for 5 weeks? There's a chart somewhere but I don't have it handy. No need to worry yet...FX for strong numbers tomorrow!
Just heard back from my RE. Betas are 122...which is triple from Monday. I've never had good numbers before...I feel like I can relax a little bit now. I'll go back Friday and then MWF next week to make sure they're still doubling.
I specifically came on here to see if you updated akraus2015. Those at fantastic numbers! Congrats!
Beta came back at 10,625. The nurse said that was better expected and scheduled my first ultrasound with my RE next Friday.
Alright linny12! How are you feeling with having such a giant beta?! I only ask because mine are high like that too, and I can't stop wondering (ok slightly freaking) whether a high beta could potentially mean multiples.
