DST can screw itself. I've seen the wrong side of 5 am two days in a row.
I got sick overnight. Not sure if it was from Mexican food or a bug but I threw up and laid in my bed half awake and shivering for a few hours. I'm super lucky my mom is in town but I'm also mad. I was going to work out and clean my house (my special treat, ha!) Now I'm going to sleep instead.
A had her first cold Saturday night and was a royal mess. I was fortunate enough to see 1 am twice, as well as many other numbers on the clock. Other than that it was not too painful for us. The big guy slept just about the same as normal and after last night we all seem to be just about back on track.
Glad A is doing better and you all are getting sleep acorn99!
DST hasn't been too terrible on us. DD woke up an hour earlier this morning and H got up with her. DS slept like crap last night but I don't attribute that to DST. Basically everyone was awake by 7.
I mentioned awhile ago about H and I going on a cruise in January without the kids. I know we will have fun and we need time with just the two of us, but I've been stressing so much about leaving them. It's a whole week and with travel before and after it will be more. We go back and forth all the time about canceling or even just bringing them. I looked into bringing them and found out DS isn't even allowed because he will be 5.5 months and they have to be 6 months. It's a big group of us going or we would just cancel and maybe go on a shorter one or do something else.
Basically I'm just venting and will stress until it's here.

My sister went on cruise when her oldest was 8 months and again when her second was 7 months. I know it stressed her out especially the first time because she was worried about nursing through the time away, but she had a good time. So it can be done My vote is go and have fun. And I am jealous.
Saturday night/Sun morning was really rough with Sam waking up every couple hours to nurse, but last went a lot better. We were hoping he'd go down earlier than usual but nope, he finally crashed at 10pm because he's a party animal. He only woke up twice though overnight and was up 10 minutes before my alarm went off this morning, so I'll take it!

DST hasn't been too bad here. Both kids were in bed by 7pm last night!
We're having a Monday. Discovered that my benefits got changed over to another provider Nov 1 and I didn't get the email with the link for me to re-enroll. Spent 35 mins on the phone on hold (during which time I changed two poopy diapers and used the toilet myself- you make me hold that long, you might get me on the toilet, that's the risk you run with crappy customer service!) to find out that they missed me because I'm on mat leave and the email is coming "sometime this week".
Got DS1 in to the doctor (10 mins on hold to get through to the office!) and he's got a swollen ear drum.

DST wasn't too problematic at our house DD didnt get a nap until 4 pm yesterday that was a shit show. It was my husband's bday and his parents wanted to take him out to eat...at naptime so that really backed up naptime and caused a lot of tears.
So this just happened a few minutes ago. I'm sure some of you can relate with it.
H: Why did you leave your cereal bowl on the counter? {Which is funny anyways because I am forever picking up after him} Me: I didn't want to wake Sam up {he was sleeping in his swing a couple yards away from the dishwasher}
H then proceeds to go and start putting my dishes in the dishwasher, promptly waking Sam up, so I start whisper yelling at him to stop.
H: I don't help around the house and you get mad at me, I try and help and you get mad at me.
Dude you just did exactly what I was trying to avoid, yeah I'm going to side eye you for it.
I'm crazy. Our humane society just posted about socially awkward (loner) cats needing to be adopted. We have 4 cats and 2 dogs. I'm thinking about getting a socially awkward cat. Sounds like they are from a hoarding house. Plus reminds me of the cat we loss earlier in the year. He was a loner but turned into a love bug in old age.
I dropped off Irene off at daycare this morning for a trial. In 4 hours she took one ounce by bottle, one ounce by syringe (she refused a bottle) and napped for 15 minutes. I walked to get her so she slept in the Ergo for an hour and half after I picked her up and then nursed many times. She's now sleeping on me again before we have to leave to get DD1 at school. I think that's a successful first day? I'm sending her again on Wednesday.

Today is my birthday. One year ago today I went and had my IUI that resulted in S. Last year I was so sad and unhappy because my RE gave us such a low chance of success that cycle but this year my heart is so full.

Also DLST caused S to get up at 5 am 20 minutes before I had to leave for work. I got H up to help but he still spent the next 15 minutes in the bathroom, so really he was no help. Then as soon as I got S dressed he pooped everywhere. He gave me a big smile too. He also spit up on my work clothes so I have been walking around with a spit up stain all day. Luckily I managed to get to work on time.

Ha ha no problem! This whole thing is becoming a huge pain in the ass because they forgot about me! First world problems, I know.
When your bedtime gets bumped an hour by dst, that's a good time to try dropping your evening nap, right? DS thinks yes.
I cannot wait til they don't need evening naps anymore. It is so hard to make an evening nap happen when baby won't sleep unless held AND the big kid is demanding attention every 3 minutes.
