It's funny how people can be for equal rights, but there's an awful lot of bitchy comments when someone has a differing opinion, which is their right.
Are you talking about me? I fail to see where I've made any bitchy comments. Disagreeing with someone's political ideology and discussing that =\= making bitchy comments.
I voted this morning and there was a line. H wasn't the best behaved but we made it through without incident. S was great the whole time. Afterwards we went and got cupcakes. A local place was giving one away free if you came in with a vote sticker.

We went for a long walk today and I bought a donkey to vote. There are lots of groceries I need to put away, and I tutor tonight. I really just want to fast forward to watching the results on the couch with H and some wine.

Also I keep thinking today is Wednesday.
I keep thinking today is Friday. I'm going to be in a sour mood tomorrow when it sinks in it's not the weekend.

I don't usually get involved in political threads bc nothing good ever comes of it but I just have to say something. The way I have read your comments in general the past week or so re: election... are totally more bitchy than just simple disagreement. Almost teetering into bully and taunting category. It's not a good idea for someone to post on another thread? WTF? What is it to you? Stuff like that... Perhaps that's not your intent but that is my interpretion, given I can't hear how you would be saying these things.

I guess tone is completely lost when posting on the internet. Maybe I should have added a "haha" or "jk" after that? Tk can post wherever she wants to. Doesn't matter to me. I just meant it in the sense that from the first 2 pages of that thread, posters were just sitting there waiting to attack a Trump supporter. Sorry if it came off that I was trying to intimidate someone. Posting a dissenting opinion on Parenting is pretty much always a "do what you want; not my funeral" situation.

Very much yes to auchick913 post. To be blantantly honest, I feel you've left your mark on every post from K and they have been a rude jab. Nowhere does it seem as though you are starting a discussion. You leave your disgust. You haven't asked her a question or tried to discuss anything. It's not even just the post today about the other thread. It's been posts on fb as well, as you know we've been down this road before.
I'm sorry if I have ever made personal attacks on anyone here. I've tried to make sure that my attacks have been directed toward Trump, as I do believe he's a vile, disgusting human being who is worthy of contempt. I understand that people vote for Trump because they want a conservative court, and it's entirely unfortunate that they feel they are forced into that decision. I wish my conservative friends had a better option than someone who is dangerous for this country, horrible to women, and a pathological liar. If only Romney had run again...
I'm a disaster watching the election. And while I agree that people need to voice their own opinions, this election has been particularly hard because I really struggle to see the other side. In most situations I have been able to say "even if I don't agree, I can see where you're coming from". I can't this time. I just can't. And I promise, I've tried. But I agree with EatsRitz, this man is vile and he scares me. I think the worst part is, I am afraid that even after this is over, I will still look around and wonder how people felt the way they did. It worries me for the future. I feel like lines have been drawn and it will take a lot of work to find happy common ground again. I seriously hope everyone is able to do it. I'm rambling. I think I'm going to take a shower and then have a glass of wine and try to stay positive about the future of this country, and the unity of the people.
So I got some good news. Bringing back up the whole Samsung washing machine recall thing. They are giving the option to get a repair kit or get a voucher for a new washer all together. 👏🏻 I was hoping for a new washer so I could switch over to a front load. So I will be going that route!

Just curious... why do you want a front load? We've had ours for about 7 years and I hate it, I can't wait to go back to a top load.

The system needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt. That's the only way I see common happy ground happening in the future.

Well...tell me your reasons.
Initially my gut said to stay with top load and my H felt the same. Didn't want to monkey with the mold/water issue. But, when we got our new washer and dryer I wanted a bigger set that would be better for bedding. And I want to be able to wash pillows. We have a large washer with no agitator and with a pillow in there, basically the pillow rises and floats so it's not getting all wet and clean. Similar situation with a comforter, some of the top part isn't getting turned around in there enough. So I was thinking the front load would actually clean better and more evenly.

Woohoo! Are you getting another Samsung? We have a front loader with steam in the washer and dryer. I don't use it that much and don't know if I would pay more for it next time. No issues and we've had ours for over 3 years. Doesn't stink like some people's do.

Yes I'll stick with Samsung because with the recall voucher to replace, you get an extra $150 to stick with Samsung. And I'd like to stick with one that'll match with the dryer. I think ours has the steam thing too. The washer we have has the basket thing on top under the lid to pre wash which I thought was so neat but I've never used it!

Eh, basically I don't like it because of the mold/water issues and it stinks, not the stuff we put through it but the machine itself. I've cleaned the rubber part and bought different cleaner things for it and nothing seems to work. Obviously just my feelings towards it. I'll deal with it until it breaks down. I can see your point with the top loading and washing blankets. I didn't think about that. My mom just got a new top load and she loves it.

Everything else about my washer I do love.
Do you leave the door open? Wipe it out? Does yours have a little drain plug at the bottom of the washing machine?
