Milestones: Finally lets me know when he'all wet. He does tell me he pooped but never actually has pooped.
Challenges: D is almost 2 and still wants milk at bedtime. I take it away from him (sippy cup w/nipple or whatever it's called) when done but clearly it's a comforting thing. He prob drinks 4-6oz. Wondering if I should try water instead...I know this is a bad thing...it's just so easy and he STTN, I don't know how to break habit...I think I'm most afraid he'lol figure out how to climb out of crib without it to soothe him at bedtime.
Funny/cute stories: he loves Paw Patrol. Rubble is his favorite ("Rubble on the Double!") Now when he wants us to hurry up and play, he'll say,"Mama (whoever) on the double!"
How are you? Sick with a cold, BFN, sad over election, just miserable in general 💔
Anything else to share? I am in utter shock over the election results and seriously concerned. These results won't affect me directly most likely, but doesn't offer much comfort.

Age: 3.5
Milestones: I can't think of any right now. I feel like I say that every week recently. She still does cool stuff, I swear! LOL
Challenges: Typical threenager stuff. Still challenging at bedtime. Last night she went down at 8, her normal time, and was up until 9:45 saying she had to "go potty." So frustrating.
Funny/cute stories: MH was doing his hair for work the other morning and J said, "Daddy! You have bangs like Mommy!" He has the Don Draper hair, so it's kind of long, but he styles it so you don't normally notice. She was blown away!
How are you? Meh. I was really in a funk yesterday with the election. I'm trying to stay positive today.
Anything else to share? I'm getting really excited for Thanksgiving! I'm not excited about all the driving we'll be doing over a 5-day period, but I'm glad we get to see both sides of the family this year (read: I get the best of both food worlds).
QOTW: Favorite dinner item: Onion casserole (my great-grandmother's recipe). Favorite dessert item: Crumb-top apple pie (my SIL's recipe). But frankly I love everything about Thanksgiving!

DS is 13 months
Eating really well this week - DC has told me every day that he ate everything offered, and sometimes even seconds and thirds. One of the teachers whispered to me as I left one day that he always eats more than any of the other kids in his class, even more than the "chubby" kids.
The tantrums had gotten better last week, but we're back to all-out fits again. He's also mildly messed up from DST, but I'm hoping we can get him back on track this weekend.
We normally sit on the floor to play w/ him when we are at home. Sometimes he plays w/ us, sometimes he plays on his own. But lately, once he's done playing on his own, he'll run across the floor at either me or DH w/ a huge smile on his face and tackle hug us.
Still in a post-election funk
We are traveling to the ILs for Thanksgiving, and I AM NOT looking forward to it. 3+ hr flight w/ a mobile toddler sounds like hell. Flight there is during bedtime, so FX he'll pass out. Flight back is around nap time, which means ain't no way he'll sleep.
QOTW: My mom's sweet potatoes. Which I don't get because we are going to the ILs. Who usually just order take-out. Did I mention I don't want to go...
