Also, I had lunch at Panera. There was a hair in my soup. A blonde hair very much mixed in the soup, so no way it was mine. I took it up and got a new bowl of soup. And a manager came to my table with cash to refund my meal. So that was nice. But gross. Otherwise I had an enjoyable day.

Eeeeewwww. Sorry about the soup. And your H not feeding the baby!!!
That would make me so mad chocolate. S apparently only napped 30 minutes between 12:30 and 8:30 today. DH isn't of the understanding that the results of that are a child that is up all night.
He went to bed at 730 just fine. Up at 9 for a bit. And then 10 for a bit. (This pattern seems to be the usual this whole week). Tonight he also woke again at 1030 and is still awake, at 1:00, alternating between calm and scream.

Sorry for all the yucky stuff, ladies. F16 deserves a vacation!
My little lady currently thinks the bottom shelf of the coffee table is the best toy ever, like a secret tunnel. She spends a lot of time climbing through it and coming out the other side. Super adorable. Pic for evidence :
Just an FYI though, when me dad was here he told me to get under there and look because they sometimes use staples when shipping items like these. Sure enough, there were several staples sticking out under the top part of the table. I used pliers to get them out but I would ha d felt so bad is she had scraped her head on them. Worth checking if your kid is mobile!
chocolate oh booooo mr chocolate. I have had similar situations here on days I sleep after work. I get up and he says "she was fine! So I didn't give her a bottle." Nope, this kid just doesn't freak out like the other one.
Regarding prenatals, really any woman of childbearing age could benefit from the folic acid. Whether you need the rest of it depends on the quality of your diet. That being said, I forget mine about as often as I remember 😝
We spent the day with my in laws yesterday, which wasn't really as bad as I expected. MIL was in a surprisingly good mood. No plans yet today, we might go watch football with some friends at Buffalo Wild Wings if we get a decent nap in this morning.
CIO folks, how long do you let it go for and how many nights/naps/etc did it take to get to a good place? Going in after certain intervals seems to make it worse, so we tried to just let him go for a while, but eventually he starts gagging on snot, hyperventilating, or banging random body parts on the crib, or a mix of the three. He will fall asleep in my arms for the most part but will not sleep anywhere else. CIO worked in the past for us when we hit a regression snag, but this 8 month regression is just hell and I don't think CIO seems to be working.
After supper last night, I told H I was going out for a bit. So I did. I went to Walmart to get our tree. It's still in my trunk, but I'm thinking of ideas of how to decorate it. I'm thinking I'll go with purple and silver. This is the first tree we've ever had since we got together 7 years ago. So I'm getting excited.
I'm also thinking of getting engraved ornaments for DD and DS. My siblings and I each have an ornament with our birth date and stats on it, so I want to carry on that tradition for my kids. Since Canadian thanksgiving was October, and Remembrance day has now passed, I'm allowing myself to get in the Christmas spirit.
Also, both kids are napping in their beds. I'm sure that since it's been over an hour for both, that if I went upstairs to lay down, they'd wake up shortly after.

I go in every ~5 min, it can take like 9 times for him to sleep sometimes
we saw an improvement after a few days, though right now I'm listening to him scream

We are on day 3 of no poop. He's a daily/every other day, max. I'm blaming the stupid little bit of cheese he did eat before he reacted. I'm so scared for when it happens.

Hey! Busy morning again for us. We went to IL's for a mini birthday celebration breakfast for H. MIL will be out of town during her party. Then we went home, I got both girls down for a nap, then got ready and left. I visited baby O for a little bit and now I'm at work.

So we had talked about whether our babies understand no. Well, apparently it clicked today. Now when I say it, he immediately stops, hangs his head, and pouts before turning away. I can't help by giggle because it's so cute.
I haven't been taking prenatals while BF. Kellymom says they're not real necessary so I figured I'd save the money. kellymom.com/ages/tandem/mom-vitamins/

DD thinks "no" is so funny. She just smiles and shakes her head no. Sometimes she stops and sometimes she keeps going. But she's been shaking her head no on her own, which is kind of funny. The other night I told H that she gives kisses now and attempted to show him. I asked her for a kiss and puckered up my lips and she started shaking her head no at me. Little stinker. But then she gave me some kisses
We've had a pretty busy day. H worked on cleaning up and reorganizing the garage, mowing up leaves, and cleaning more stuff out of our basement. Our basement needs a whole remodel job and he's going to make a call this week to have the lighting done. It's so dark down there so that'll be a good start so that we can see for other jobs.
While he was doing that, I was doing some cleaning in the house and also got my holiday/winter garland up on our kitchen cabinets. I love it, it adds so much warmth to the kitchen.
I need to find a new Christmas tree. The tree we had was mine and H's first tree together from Kmart several years ago. I want something nice but not several hundreds of dollars. Anyone know of a good place/website to get one?
I got home at 10:30 and S was still up. DH said she woke up screaming every time he tried to lay her down so he gave up and decided to let me put her down. She has been working on a tooth so I gave her Motrin in case the tooth is the problem and I am currently trying to get her to sleep. It's been a process. As soon as I get her down I'm eating a piece of cookie cake and going to bed. Today ended up being kind of busy. I had quite a few patients come in, the moon is at it again. I bet the overnight girl is busy tonight.
chocolate I got my new tree from lowes after Christmas 2 years ago. I don't think it was even $100 on sale, not sure what it was full price though.
I wish I had gotten one last year while they were all on clearance. I've tried looking online and I don't think I can rely on photos. I'll have to go find one in a store. I looked in Hobby Lobby and Target. They were all so green (obviously) but like a brighter grass geeen almost. I want a nice dark color. I'll have to check Menards and Lowes. My SIL got a Balsam Hills tree last year. No way my H would allow that price.

Yeah, pictures online are hard. This is the one I got. It is a deeper green. Easy to assemble.

That one looks nice. I like full branches/needles (?) and not the little skinny stick kind. Full and dark is what I'm looking for 👍🏻
